Gitana's isn't Closed.... I go there all the time! I live right next to it. They have excellent kebabs and hummus, and the hookah is wonderful if you're into that. Outdoors they have a projector screen on which they usually play arabic music videos (heat lamps too). Cool vibe. The indoor decore creates an exotic ambiance. However the service there has never been great. I went there the other night and waited 45 minutes to get the waitress' attention so we could get our check, when the place wasn't even busy.... But overall it's a really chill place to go. It doesn't get busy until 9-10pm, even on the weekends.

it is closed. it is closed and has been for quite a few years. It was good when it was open but they had alot of fights and the city of burbank shut them down.

this has not been open for a few years now.. When it was open it was a good sports bar but not anymore. They had tons of people there tons of tv's but they had a problem with the law and burbank and it got shut down

Valley fun center for grown-ups who like to dance, dine and play air hockey.. In Short
An expansive outdoor patio leads to a loud sports bar/entertainment center. Catch the big Lakers or Raiders game on one of the 30 TVs or compete in video games, darts, air hockey and foosball. There's a pool hall in back with a hanging mega-screen TV. An atypical dance club with two full bars, a dance floor and a roomy VIP area opens up on the weekends.

Hookah Bar. This place is great. It's one of the few Hookah bars that are around, and the Gitana Special is the BEST. About 6 different flavored herbs and cranberry juice instead of water. It's like smoking fruit, it's so smooth! Whether you're a smoker or not, you have to go to Gitana's and try it. I love this place, I make the drive just for the Gitana Special. But don't forget you'll be outside so make sure your warm. Usually good music outside, foods pretty good too. Service could be better though.

Total Meat Market. I was excited about trying this place because it seemed really nice to have a big new club open in Burbank of all places. And the space really does have a lot of potential. There's so many different things you do: drink at the sports bar part, dance in the club, shoot pool in the billiards area, have a cup of coffee at the cafe, eat dinner in the restaurant.

Unfortunately, the dance club part is a total meat market. They need to limit the number of guys who come in. My friend and I were constantly hit on. One guy wouldn't leave her alone. She even showed him her engagement ring and he still wouldn't let up. Finally, I spotted her fiance walking back in and then her unwanted admirer took off.

Potential but not there yet. Gitana's has a full bar, pool tables, video games, dance club, sports on TVs and food. What else do you need you ask? My answer: a good crowd. This is not a popular place even though there are all these things to do. The crowd that does go there is very specific and extremely "click-ish". The attitude of the crew is arrogant at times and I must say that I didn't feel like my business was appreciated. I enjoy all the things Gitana has to offer but, I enjoy them in other places.
