Good for groups. If you're in the mood for serious italian food - this is probably not the place to go to. But if you're looking for a good time with a large group of people - it's a good choice. Very festive atmosphere - and you'll get full.

Hit and Miss. Sometimes it's a hit, sometimes it's a miss. I have gone to Buca a handful of times and I would have to say half the time I have had horrendous experiences there whereas the other half has been okay. Buca is family friendly so expect a lot of screaming children (I didn't know children came like that...all screaming). The food is bland and the service is also a hit or miss...sometimes okay sometimes not. Word of advice: specify whether or not you want anchovies on your caesar salad. Half the time they don't ask and put them on your salad and then suggest you "pick them off" if you didn't want them.

OVER RATED!!!. This place sucks. Okay, maybe if I was going with a big group of college students it might be fun. That is if you enjoy shrieking kids, bland food, and wine that tastes like grape juice. People who like this food must be used to getting their Italian food out of a can. the pasta was overcooked, cold, and chewy. The tomato sauce tasted like ketchup. Granted the place is inexpensive...but be warned...you get what you pay for.
