Editorial Review for Tito's Tacos – by Sandy Masuo
The Scene
At almost any hour, this humble stand is surrounded by a diverse throng of devoted diners--yuppies seeking a quick lunch, families enjoying a thrifty dinner, young couples exchanging affectionate glances over a late-night bite. Since there are only a few picnic tables outside and only a few more inside, most people stand and eat.
The Food
Twenty bucks buys just about one of every item on the menu with change to spare. Besides bargain-basement prices, the secret to Tito's success is its tasty, no-nonsense Mexican fare. Stuffed with shredded beef, the hard-shell tacos are so petite it's not uncommon for customers to order quantities in the double-digits. Enchiladas are generously filled with neon-orange cheese and blanketed in a mildly piquant red sauce. Burritos come crammed with zesty stewed meat and oily refried beans. All orders come with a mound of freshly fried chips and zesty tomato salsa.

The food is good overall ,but I don't understand why there are lines all day and night. This is the place to go for late night meals when all the other places are closed. I would rate it slightly above average.

I have been going to Tito's for as long as I can remember and the food is awesome! I don't think it's the greatest mexican food out there but it's good and at a great price. Others might think Taco Bell is better and better for u sure if u liked canned meat. I'm mexican and Taco Bell puts Mexican food to shame. Tito's is good food and great service.
