In Short – Lala's has two locations--a Studio City strip mall and the Melrose Avenue original where Hollywood glitterati and actor types hang on the patio. Argentine meals waste no bit of bovine--from mollejas sweetbreads to skirt steaks. Fried, pounded-thin steak Milanesa is doused in garlic and herbs or cheese and tomato sauce. Eggplant, zucchini, onion and tomatoes come sandwiched between rustic bread or served on skewers beside mashed potatoes and rice. Traditional panqueques con dulce de leche, made with crepes and caramel, finishes.

Great food, affordable prices!

This place has very good food, steaks, chicken, empanadas, and great mashed potatoes. They have a nice outside patio and valet service. The only weird thing is that to make reservations, you have to FAX over a sheet with your credit card info, a little weird...
- Pros: great food
- Cons: really complicated and unnecessary reservation system
Great food at a great price

I absolutely love this restaurant. They have a great wait staff, cool ambiance, quick service, and most importantly great food. I strongly recommend their steaks. Mostly priced under $20 bucks it tastes great and if bought with the french fries, will fill you up quite well. It's the perfect spot for a quick lunch. Lala's keep up the great work.
- Pros: great prices and great food
- Cons: parking
