Use these guys!!. These guys were great!! We moved on probably the hottest day of the year this summer and they busted their behinds to get it done quickly yet carefully. The guys arrived on time, were very pleasant, worked very hard, and completed the job several hundred dollars below my "will not exceed price" that was quoted. It was a major job with 4 guys and 2 trucks and everything went smooth. I would not hesitate to call them again if/when I move again...great job guys, THANKS!

Best Movers Ever. I hired North Star to move my 4 bedroom house from Redondo to Newprt. I have a lot of heavy stuff and stairs so I requested 5 guys and two 26ft trucks. Joel (the foreman) and his team did an AMAZING job!!! These guys showed up at 7:30am and did not slow down until the work was finished. They worked so hard and so fast that they beat the "not to exceed price" by $400 and still showed extreme care with my stuff. All the guys were friendly and curtious and I could not have been more pleased. Ilan came to my house for the estimate and he was great to work with as well. I got 4 quotes before settling on North Star and Ilan was patient and flexible with me. All promises he made regarding price, time, etc were exceeded on moving day. I have to say one more time that the service performed was beyond my expectations and I was charged $400 less than what I agreed to with the initial quote! These guys are legit and there is no way I would even look at another company for my next move.

verey good move. I recently moved homes locally in Tarzana and had a wonderful experience using NorthStar Moving. The people at the office made it easy to schedule and plan my move, and they really helped me prepare for every detail in the moving process. From parking, packing, traffic, to delivery and set-up, NorthStar Moving allayed all of my stress. When the movers arrived to our home they had big smiles and were ready to work. I was so impressed to see them lift every item carefully over stairs, around walls, and through the doorways. They cared more about the items and my home than I did! Not to mention they worked fast! The crew at my home was so friendly, courteous, and ready to lend a hand. Arriving at new place, the crew unloaded and patiently moved my furniture around for me until I knew where I wanted things to go.

I even got a call from the office making sure everything went well. This moving company has excellent customer service. From the office team to the movers in my home, everyone had same attention to detail and care for my move. I can’t recommend this moving company enough. If you are moving in Los Angeles, or anywhere, and want an easy stress free move, NorthStar Moving has the right team for you!

Extremely Satisfied with the moving crew. I was looking for a company for a local move of my one bedroom apartment. Several friends had referred me to NorthStar and when I called them for an estimate, they sent out a person the next day to do an inventory and give me an estimate. They said their quote would not exceed the estimate of 7.5 hours of work.

I was told the men would arrive between 8-10am AND they showed up exactly at 8am.

For the next 6 hours they worked non-stop (not even taking a bathroom break) and because they finished under the 7.5 hour estimate, the final price was several hundred dollars lower. Nothing was broken or damaged even though I had a lot of glass furniture and large paintings. I would gladly use them again.

Moving from San Francisco to Los Angeles. Northstar was great from start to finish. Everyone was professional and helpful. The movers showed up early and moved everything quickly. Every item of furniture was wrapped in padded blankets and plastic, totally protected. Fragile pieces such as a large mirror were put into a carton. All the items were listed and numbered on an inventory list which made it very easy to know where each item went when unloading. The movers arrived at our LA apartment on a hot afternoon. The foreman had a smile on his face and was so helpful figuring out out to get large pieces of furniture into a small bedroom...and he made it work. Best of all was the price. I was shocked how inexpensive the move was. I highly recommend them.

5 Star Moving Day. If you’re looking for the best, look no further, we found them! NorthStar Moving made our moving day so stress free and easy. We moved locally within Tarzana on July 4th, we were nervous because our date is like the busiest moving weekend of the summer. Although I am sure they were very busy that day, NorthStar made us feel like we were a priority. They were on time both at pickup and delivery. The movers worked hard the entire move, even though it was so hot! They were courteous, helpful, and very efficient. The office team that coordinated the move and called on to follow up before and after also made the entire moving process pleasant. The price is reasonable and worth it! I highly recommend them to everyone.

Smoothest move ever!. From start of inquiry to end of move - fast, clean, professional. NorthStar was the first of four companies I emailed requesting quotes to contact me - within 45 minutes of my request. I was quoted a not to exceed price the next morning by Barak - a fair price for four movers + a shuttle van for my steep driveway. Move leader Roberto and his team arrived early and went to work immediately - these guys knew what to do and did it. I felt the typical anxiety disappear instantly. They did not disappoint, moving me in half the quoted time - HALF THE TIME. Can't imagine that this is always the case, but I tipped large and waved goodbye. I will never use any other company for moving - thanks, NorthStar

North Star Moving. I just recently moved with NorthStar Moving and it was amazing!

I have used NorthStar Moving two times in the past, and as a loyal client and big fan I knew that I could trust them with something as valuable as my family’s move. We recently had a baby, and with an expanding family, moving became both necessary and more challenging. However, from the first call to the last few boxes, their service was exceptional! The movers worked hard, the office team followed up throughout the move, we felt like the move was just as important to them as it was to us. We moved locally within the same neighborhood, but I don’t think I could have done it without NorthStar Moving. This was definitely the best moving experience ever! In these tough economic times you have to make sure you get value for what you are paying for, and I am happy to say that my move with NorthStar Moving is definitely worth it. Not only did they get the hard work taken care of, but they gave my family and me peace of mind, which in a move is priceless. I am such a big fan, I want everyone to try them, so I’m posting this review on every internet review site I can think of! Thank you NorthStar!

Above and beyond. I had a small move within the city, and after reading a lot of online reviews I chose Northstar. I'm very glad I did. Wendy was very helpful, professional, & answered all my questions.

The 3 man crew turned up right on time & had my boxes & furniture, including a huge teak sideboard with glass doors, in the truck in under an hour & a half. My new place was less than 10 minutes away & they got straight to unpacking, just as efficient as earlier. However my huge sideboard would not fit up the elevator, the main stairs or the fire stairs to my 2nd floor apartment. I was devastated as it is my favorite piece of furniture. But after I saw how impossible this would be I suggested they take it back to my old apartment & I would just try to sell it or give it away.

But those fantastic guys, Oscar, Elizeo & Angel, worked for another hour to get that huge sideboard over a 2nd floor balcony railing from the pool deck! I was sure it would end up in pieces on the pool deck but those guys went above & beyond what was expected & that sideboard is now in my living room. I was absolutely amazed!

Also, everything else arrived in great shape, the cost was very reasonable & this crew were absolutely amazing. I would recommend Northstar to everyone.
