Consisting of two sites across the street from one another, this famed Santa Monica outpost (and InStyle mag favorite) resembles a mini-mall with its many boutiques and eateries. The larger building includes high-end shops such as Feeling and Couture, amid more mainstream fashion cornerstones like Diesel, Levi's and Lucky. The salon and cafes will keep you styled and well-fed. –

Atrocious customer service

I've never experienced anything like Fred Segal. I purchased a $150.00 shirt from their website, but never received the shirt or any explanation for why my order was not filled. I called the store and spoke to a rather rude woman who took down my information and told me that someone would contact me with my order's whereabouts. When no one called me back, I sent Fred Segal both a letter and an e-mail asking for an explanation. I've never received a reply. Given that Fred Segal has treated me, a new customer, with nothing but contempt, I cannot recommend the place.

BEST HAIR EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE MY HAIR!!!!!! It is not something I have ever said before but, WOW!!! First off I walked in the door shamefully due to the currant state of my hair. I thought OK they will have me here for 5 hours and it will probably cost me upwards of my rent but "the price of beauty right" . Wrong I sat down with Mr. Preece himself and he calmed my fears instantly. He went in the back room and within 1 hour My mess of a mop was shiny and ready, and worthy of a hair commercial. The price was less than I thought and the service across the board was great. I have found my hair guy and I am loving it!!!!!!!!!!!! I always felt small when I went in to a new salon but all my worries are gone now. Also FYI Mr. Preece is english, rocker, and HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!

MUST VISIT WESTSIDE SALON!!

Preece & Toff at Fred Segal far exceeded my expectations for a first time visit to a new salon. I had been searching for a new stylist/ salon & am SO glad I heard about them! A friend had told me about the new salon that just opened at Fred Segal shortly after Fred Segal Beauty closed. When I first got there I was SO surprised at the changes that had been made! The energy is much more relaxed, & the style of the salon is simple, but chic, much like a downtown loft or art studio. Its zen, but rock & roll at the same time. It's hard to believe the previous owners allowed it to look so out dated. The stylist they chose for me is a perfect match, & I also got the best manicure I've ever had. I am in love with Preece & Toff!!!!
