The Scene
Unwind at this relaxing joint, which regulars refer to as "Brewco." A popular college hangout, it offers a unique blend of beverages, including several microbrews from San Diego's Stone Brewery. The prime location is the brick wall-enclosed patio where jukebox tunes liven up the place. Just steps away from a full bar, there's a spiral staircase leading to another small patio that offers a view of stucco rooftops and high-rise buildings. Ashtrays fill with cigarette butts while patrons hang out under a dark sky filled with tiny, bright stars.
The Draw
After dusk, intimate groups of barely legal patrons munch on finger foods and sip in-house ales. Depending on the night, it can be a quiet mellow crowd, while other nights, it's endless rounds of shots for frat boys, intellectual types and cute, skinny blondes.

My friends and I love karaoke, and I guess the Brew Co just started doing karaoke on Friday nights and it was so much fun. The selection is huge (over 100,000 songs?!), the crowd is fun, and KJ Gabe plays great dance music throughout the night. FINALLY, Westwood has a fun place to go to on Friday night. I've been to a lot of karaoke places in LA, and this is one of the best. The song selection is updated to like current, and the waitlist moves pretty quick. The drinks are priced reasonably, NO COVER, and it's a great atmosphere. Very fun, GREAT KARAOKE, highly recommend for all the karaoke lovers out there or people that just like to listen and have a good time. Definitely check it out Friday nights. It goes from 9pm to closing.

I ordered a bowl of chili and received a red pasty mush floating on a thin film of grease. No beans, no meat, just paste. Literally speaking, I wouldn't have fed it to a dog. Next time I'm in the Westwood Village I'll go to Chili's.

I was there when it opened and it hasn't been the same since the early 2000s. They were great when they actually brewed their beer on premise. Now those huge container tanks are for show. Food choice has gone south, the restroom has been down graded, and they've even gone cheap with the actual (physical) menu.
