Editorial Review for Mad Tea Party – by Kristine Forrest
The Appeal
A kid's delight, a parent's doom: this wildly spinning ride is something anyone over 25 years old can only stomach once. Riders board giant teacups and use the wheel in the center to control how fast they spin. The first 30 seconds are crazy and fun--you'll laugh until it hurts--but soon the giddiness wears off and dizziness takes over. The ride itself is lovely, with the pastel-colored cups whirling around a huge teapot. At night, Chinese lanterns give the scene a gorgeous glow.
Facts
Lines are usually short and move quickly. There isn't much to look at while you wait, but with a roof overhead you'll be protected from the sun.

Alright, we're talking about a children's ride. But here are two tips for ya. One, find yourself a strong person. Growing up, my brother always fit the bill. Second, hop onto the plain lavender tea cup. That on is said to be the fastest of all of the spinning tea cups. Try it, it's true. Somehow it's just that much easier to spin.
Pros: Plain Lavender Cup
