Don't go to an LA location.
My first experience with Big Lots was down near San Diego somewhere. I couldn't believe all of the amazing deals. I left with my car packed.
I've never been able to replicate that in LA. I guess I keep forgetting how crowded this damn city is. There are people that use Big Lots as their primary shopping, so if you're not on top of it, you'll never find the good stuff. Even then, you'll be on line forever, I can't tell you how many carts I've left.
Save yourself the frustration and make this an occasional out of town jaunt when you happen to pass one.
