Best Burger Ever. A Culver City institution, Petrelli's Steakhouse has that wonderful 1950's style ambiance with it's red leather booths, waitresses that have worked there forever, and the BEST BURGER you've ever tasted! It's big, beefy and delicious....they use some of the best beef there is. I'm sure their steaks are just as tasty, but if you want a DELICIOUS burger, Petrelli's is the place to go! Make sure you're hungry though, 'cause it's BIG!!

Our search continues.... ...for a decent non-chain steakhouse. We really wanted to like Petrelli's, and the ambiance and service initially seemed so promising. The food,

however, really disappointed. For about the same price as a national chain, we got the blandest "soup" we have had in recent memory and a pile of iceberg lettuce with croutons and a canned beet slice posing as our "salad". The overcooked green beans and tough-skinned baked potato also failed to impress. Still, isn't a steakhouse about the meat? Well, our ribeye and porterhouse steaks were sizable, but much to our dismay, NOT grilled to perfection. Instead, these poor pieces of meat were slathered with butter and griddled! Petrelli's is obviously an institution in this

neighborhood, but unfortunately, they seem to be preparing food the same way it has been done for over 50 years. Modern gastronomes beware!
