Best Indian Cuisine. I went to Shalimar with a friend I must say it was some of the best foood I have ever eaten, the chicken was so moist and tender I had 3 servings and there sauces were simply delicious. At $10.00 all you can eat you cant go wrong beats any fast food joint that you end up spending 10.00 for a burger fries and a coke. I will come back for sure..

Best Indian Food!. We had dinner at Shalimar last Saturday night and it was the most amazing Indian food! They had the best Chicken Tikka Masala I've ever had. My husband had the Shrimp Curry which was over the top! We went back today for the lunch buffet which was great! It had a great variety of dishes to try out. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Great Food! Greater Service!!. Exquisite food, paralleled only by their service. I arrived with a big appetite and left very much satisfied. When you're in the area be sure to visit Shalimar, I'm certain you'll find their cuisine as well as their charming enthusiasm more than enjoyable! Also the parking is abundant, and prices are very reasonable for such good food. Can't wait for another trip...!

BEST SERVICE DELICIOUS FOOD. I AM REGULAR AND I LOVE THEIR BUFFET BUT YESTERDAY THEY HAVE GREAT EGG CURRY I LOVE TO EAT MORE AND MORE THEIR CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA IS GREAT....LOVE THERE FOOD

Great food but poor service. I agree with the other reviews that the food was very good. But we felt the service was so slow and rude that it was not overall a pleasant dining experience.

Excellent Indian Food. I go often to Shalimar. Love the food and the service. Ever since taking over the restaurant, the new chef and his team do a tremendous job both on the quality of food and the service. The appetizers are great and I especially love the sev puri. The entrees are excellent and for those who love chicken make sure you try the chilly chicken sizzler.

Overall, this is one of my favorite Indian restaurants in So Cal. Kudos to Keshav and his team!

Delicious Indian Restaurant. Wonderful Chiken Tikka Masala and I love their Tandoori Chiken!! And Mango Lassi is amazing! They have a lunch buffee, which has so many kinds of curries. Also we can eat as much as for chiken tandoori, vegitable salada, and vegi pakoras. I like to come here all the time :)

One of the very best Indian Restaurants. My wife and I have eaten often at Shalimar. In the past it was because we enjoy Indian food and it was convenient, but was not our favorite Indian restaurant. With the new management it has become our favorite Indian restaurant, and we will enjoy bringing friends there for lunch or dinner. Everything I have ordered since the change in ownership has been excellently prepared and delicious. The quality is far better than it was under previous management. The owner and chef, Keshew and Jaswant Chahal, are very friendly and accommodating. They take a personal interest in ensuring that their customers are happy. They have a very interesting array of chutneys, the nan is excellent, and our favorite dishes, including eggplant, spinach and tandoori dishes are prepared as well as we have had in the best Indian restaurants we have visited in Los Angeles.

The ambience is very pleasant and attractive, free parking is abundantly available, and the daily luncheon buffet is outstanding, very freshly cooked and reasonably priced. It is an excellent choice for business lunches. Keshew was previously the chef at the Bombay Café, and does an outstanding job. He takes a personal interest in making sure that customers have a great dining experience.

NEW Management at Shalimar's. My husband & I eat out often -- and we happen to enjoy Indian food a lot. What an absolute surprise to find the new management: Keshew and his darling wife, Jaswant to be not only warm and friendly but serve the most delicious Indian food in their newly refreshed restaurant. Everything is fresh and tasty and -- priced right.

How convenient for us to go there often since it happens to be right across the street from where we live at the new and approved Ralphs shopping center in trendy Culver City. We walk... but if you drive there's lots of free parking.

This restaurant is not to be missed.

Great Indian Food. Shalimar restaurant under the new management is totally transformed. It's amazing that quality and taste of food has improved substantially. I have been to several resturants in this area for last 10 years but this one gets a 5 star rating particularly in the category of Indian authentic food.

Management and staff are very friendly and we felt like at home. My kids like samosas, pakoras and lassi here. Since the food is so tasty, we end up eating a lot and need to plan for extra exercise.

This restaurant is in a quite location and spacious enough to have a party.
