Disappointed. I have visited the restaurant over a period of time because I used to live in the neighborhood. However the last two times I have eaten there I got a terrible case of stomach flu, nausea, and became extremely ill. On both occasions this happened after eating their sushi. The food looks attractive and the place appears clean. Perhaps they have changed the chef or kitchen staff. Whenever sushi is served the restaurant has to be extremely clean and meticulous. I will never visit again and I would strongly suggest not eating anything in the restaurant that is not fully cooked. I am strongly suspicious that it was the restaurant food that made me ill because I only ate food from my own kitchen or that was frozen during those two days. Hope I'm wrong but I do not think so.
So-so sushi. With so many better places in the immediate area, I wasn't so sure about trying this one in a tiny strip mall on Venice Blvd. It wasn't bad, but there was nothing about their sushi that was incredibly good or anything. Their rolls were decent but not excellent. I'd rather eat sushi elsewhere, especially nigiri.
