Historic building, nice rooms, great town. I am an actor. I recently was lucky and got a job on a TV pilot. I needed a place to stay in the West Side of town. I did a lot of checking, rate being important. One of my buddies suggested the West End Hotel in Culver City. I

Thanks to West End... My girl & I were in between apartments and stayed there for about months. We were lucky to find West End.Rooms are clean and the employees are wonderful people. No one ever came in our room other than to clean.Nothing was ever stolen and we had our 'lives" in there..money,valuables,documents.We would go back if we had to.Thank you West End for housing us during our difficult times!!

DO not stay here if you value your belongings and money!. I moved here in order to be closer to west la college. I liked the price and the area. I have since moved because of the thefts that were taking place in which I do pay extra now, but i don't mind because a crew like the one at the West end works together to make you believe you are not getting robbed or it is just misplaced. while of course your things come up missing. I was robbed on many occasions (gold benrus watch, passport, money, etc.....) There is a guy named "Kam" who works there that wears sunglasses at night at times because he must be on some type of drug(s). The maid is involved also, and the maintenance man named andrew. I explained my concerns to the management team (Kam and sarah) and they either said o.k. while smiling, or went to extreme efforts to make me believe that theft is not possible at the hotel. The entire staff has a key and they love to see what people are up to behind the scenes by going through their things, at times moving things around a bit just to throw you off, and then rob you while you are away. I filed police reports concerning the thefts and unfortunately there is no "forced entry" so no further action is taken on their part. Funny thing is, of course there is no forced entry because they each have access to the keys!! If you do take a chance by staying there, and you do get robbed, files a police report right away because the more people that do the more likely an investigation might take place. Best advice though: DO NOT STAY THERE if you value your belongings.
