good value, friendly waiters, perfect date place, delicious sesame chicken, delicious albacore sashimi, great atmosphere, great other seafood variety
Sushi me!. I love going here. The foot is fantastic. Of couse I prefer the drinks. As one of my only restaraunts nearby carrying Tu Ku I always find myself making frequent trips. Friendly service, great atmosphere. Do yourself a favor and check out the place.
Piano Man. Sambi has an amazing all you can eat sushi special on sundays! The rest of the week can get a bit pricey so try to get there on a Sunday! The staff is amazing- i asked for a drink suggestions and she offered ty ku sake. I'm new to sake but decided to go out on a limb! It tasted like a creamy version of white wine. delicious! The best part about sambi is the piano man that plays 7 days a week.
Sambi. I honestly dont understand how this place has such great ratings??!? It is SO out of date and disgusting.... it is hurtful to even explain. I am sure it was great once upon a time, but dont expect anything upscale or stylish. Whoever is managing this restaurant is obviously trying to give the least to its customers that it possibly can.. it is disgustingly apparent that they have not renovated in 20 years and their clientele is no where near first class. Then again, they are not serviing first class food. I will say that their food is OK but no where near what they charge for it. They are asking for prices no where near this calibur. I know this is an older establishment that used to be successful, but whoever owns this obvioulsy does not believe in upkeep or creating a better product for better future business-- very short termed?? I heard great things from locals who used to live in the area a while back-- apparently it hasnt been kept up. Gone down with the area?? Bottom Line: Good Potential but NEEDS renovation and inspiration. When you have motel signs with push in letters all around the restaurant ((inside and out) = not good :)
Best sushi in town. This place is awesome.. the Sushi rolls are the best I've had. For the best experience sit at the sushi bar and interact with the chefs...Try the Cucumber special Roll (a bit Pricey) but well worth it...the Volcano roll , and the LA Roll are also great..Albacore Sashimi is delicious. Every Item I had there was very good. Great atmosphere .. you might wait a bit for a seat at the sushi bar but it's well worth the wait...
Great service. We always go for Happy Hour and it's great...there's a pianist playing in the main room so it's always soothing...the waitresses and waiters are friendly....oh the sushi! this is the place where i had my first sushi assortment and it was soooo good...my fave is the pitcher of beer i share amongst myself!
Best Sushi and Sushi Rolls. Sambi's has the best rolls and sushi in the area. They have a sushi bar where you get to see them roll up and prepare your sushi. If you love eel and tuna you will love this place because the cucumber special with spicy tuna is delicious. Also try the Dragon Roll if you like eel on your sushi.
Interesting Japanese Restaurant. The all-you-can-eat Sunday brunch is a good value. This is a large restaurant with a fish fountain/pond in the middle of the dining area.
Romance is the name of the game.. This is a perfect date place. The dining room had a small pond and water fountain in the middle of the room. A piano player plays 7 nights a week. You'll enjoy the time you spend there.
