Fun place to hang with the guys.. This is kind of like a hole in the wall bar, its small and there is plenty to look at on the walls (especially the Voodoo head). I liked the $2 beers and the people there were all friendly. the location on the other kind of looks unsafe, so be sure to lock your cars and don't leave anything of value in the car.

Great find, cheap drinks. This place is swarming with different looks and interesting tastes....the drinks are great, wide variety and cheap...if you are lucky, the bartender may prepare a free sample for you if you are not sure what u are in the mood for...Thursday is 80s nite, the floor is not too packed for this small locale...check out the Web site for daily events or specials

A cast of thoroughly inked characters, from rockabilly girls to shaved-head skate punks, sit under vintage punk posters next to walls plastered with stickers from local bands. Getting crazy in the mosh pit to live bands or playing foosball and billiards are popular activities, while others just relax on the leopard print couch while listening to the jukebox stocked with classics from the Misfits, Social Distortion and other punk legends.

Miss Al's Bar?. Do you find yourself yearning for the true grittyness of a bar like the late Al's bar? If so make the drive to Downey...just about 15 minutes southeast of downtown L.A. One any given night you'll find the bar filled with rough and tumble bohemians and friendly regulars. The live music can be great(rockabilly, garage, punk) or they can be headache inducing, yawn producing generic altenative. Also Check out Wino Wednesdays...50 cent well drinks till...I forget.
