NO Service. Waited at lunch time 45 minutes and no one ever took our order. Flagged down the waiter twice and he just smiled. Went to the counter and asked if we could order and he just said he was "too busy". The other server just ignored us. Left hungry and late to go back to work. DON"T go there.

The original Santa Monica location has been attracting loyal Westsiders since Day One, and its satellites--located from Pasadena to Redondo Beach--are also rousing success stories. The dining rooms are comfortable, the pace is brisk, and servers are congenial and efficient. This is a great spot for families and groups. If you're on the run, opt for takeout or delivery. Geared toward American palates, this Thai food is fresh, satisfying and not too spicy.

ASIA HOUSE (formerly "Thai Dishes"). The former Thai Dishes at 150 S. Sepulveda has been remodeled and is now "Asia House." The improvements are across the board, including better decor, food and service. They have a full range of dishes from cheap to expensive and from mild to hot. Warning: Twice so far, I've been served food that was still cold -- or even partially frozen -- inside, including spring rolls and "BBQ" chicken.
