The only thing better than the food is the service.
I've eaten Korean BBQ at more than half a dozen restaurants in/around LA and this place easily pushes it's way to the top of my list.
My girlfriend and I visited Shilla on new years day to try out their lunch specials. Before entering the restaurant we were enthusiastically greeted by several of what I assume were employees wishing us a happy new year.
Our waitress was extremely delightful. She very politely helped my girlfriend mix together her assorted vegetables and rice the "Korean way". Half-way through mixing her food she leaves and comes back with sesame oil completing the dish to make sure my girlfriend's food reached it's maximum potential.
My BBQ ribs where extremely juicy and tender. Everything was fresh and tasty.
Absolutely no complaints. I look forward to eating dinner here in the near future.
Total cost for our lunches + drinks was a very reasonable $25.

nice servers, easy parking in lot, good for lunch.
Great spot for lunch! Went with a friend, first time for both of us, so we didn't know what to expect. You get a lot of food for only a little bit of money if you order the lunch special. We were both very full and very pleased.

Going home after lunch...?.
Decided to try Korean for lunch instead of a full dinner and was not dissappointed. I usually frequent the Koreatown spots for speecial occasion dinners but those restaurants are too far to drive for lunch.
The menu was easy to read and easy to order from with several different waitresses teaming up for some excellent service. I actually had the Bul Go Gi cooked for me this time (being extra lazy), although they do have grills at the table if you prefer. Kimchi was sufficient although not nearly as much as I get in K-Town. Started to get the calamari but didn't want to have any leftovers so we opted out. (Next time will definitely order some!)
Fair prices and I did not leave hungry - 2 lunch specials with large sake under $40.

Great Kalbi.
I highly recommend this Korean restaurant. While you can cook at the table, I always ask them to cook it in the kitchen. The place is large and very clean. Surprisingly, they have creme brulee for dessert and it is great.

Real Good!.
We have family in Gardena so we make sure to visit them every time we have a craving for Shilla. It's my husbands favorite korean BBq restaurant. They serve a lot of appetizers that come with your order so be sure to come with an appetite.
