Okay sushi, but overpriced.. Being a semi-avid sushi fan, this Sen Nari was a disappointment. The food was pretty good, fish was fresh, and the service was very friendly, but the prices were a little too high for my taste, especially for lunch.

$15 for 4 pieces of a spider roll and the sushi is $4 a piece for most of the items. You can get sushi just as good or better for far less at other places.

Enjoyable Monday Night. My boyfriend surprised me by suggesting we go out tonight. We went to Sen Nari Sushi. It was great! The yellow tail melted in your mouth and the fish was very fresh. The atmosphere was great with a whole bunch of little rooms where you sit on the floor. The price was reasonable for sushi, sushi = $4, roll = $8. Very friendly service, they kept returning to refill our tea. Overall ... great!

Bad Quality food. Bad customer service.. The fish did not taste fresh. The salmon sashimi looked pale and smelled/tasted fishy. Sushi should not smell or taste fishy. I may be coming down with something from eating the food at this place.

Also, the avocado they use in their sushi was almost black, and this wasn't due to oxidation. It looked like a cheap variety of avocado that had begun to go bad.

We won't be going back there again.

Horrible. Stay Away.. I recently went for lunch with my business associates. There was a hair in my colleagues miso soup. Also, the sashimi we ordered was old and coated with a preservative that we later found out was rice vinegar. The chef also told us that the fish was frozen, giving us the impression that they regularly store fish for long periods of time. NOT FRESH.

NOT RECOMMENDED.

Fresh sushi. Wow! This place is great! It's expensive, but the quality is wonderful! Great unagi, yellowtail, and scorpion fish! I'll be coming back here, for sure.

SUSHI GARDENA STYLE. This place is next to a bank and in a shopping plaza on western. The place is bright but small. the private rooms areas are really fun. the food when we went was good but not up to par with the last time i went. This may have been a fluke because normally the food quality is really good. great small place , price are normal. i would suggest the sushi bar instead of the tables. you get better, thicker cuts.

Supremely good sushi at reasonable prices.. I tried Sen Nari after a friend recommended it and my dining experience exceeded my expectations. Eating at the sushi bar was great as the chefs were very attentive and friendly. All sushi was very fresh and amazingly good. I was especially impressed by the Sake, Maguro, and Unagi!! The soft shelled crab appetizer was awesome!

The decor in Sen Nari is okay, and the location isn't great, but the focus is purely on the quality of the sushi, which is exceptional! Highly recommend!!

Top 5 Sushi house in Gardena. I finally tried this place after hearing about it for so long. The main chef, Sonny, is highly amiable and will make your first experience memorable. The sushi is top quality here, I recommend a bar visit upon first trying this place. Prices are good for a Sushi house and the service is decent.

absolutely THE BEST!!. I have been going to this sushi restaurant for at least 10 years. The same head chef is there (I think the owner?) and he is fantastic! The fish is always always ALWAYS fresh and delicious. The ambience is authentic.. none of this trendy "LA" style sushi bar crap. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants authentic sushi.
