Tips for El Pollo Inka

Hit mini-chain menu includes namesake rotisserie chicken and Peruvian dishes.. In Short
Totems of Peruvian history create the atmosphere: Plaster-cast walls mimic stone temples and carved gods, while art, textiles and photos festoon the remainder of the room. The cuisine is as lively as the decor and is anchored by the house special spiced rotisserie chicken. Fish and meat dishes are also offered--fish stew, Peruvian shrimp fried rice, or steak with fried egg and plantains. Saltado--sauteed tomatoes, onions and french fries--is available with beef, shrimp, mixed seafood or vegetarian-style.

What a lowsy place .... First of this establishment was picked for a banquet that was planned because of it's so called grandiose service (zagat raiting). Little that we found out that this raiting meant nothing. I went with a group of ten people, the waitress was nice and courteous and took our drinks and served them, followed by the taking of the orders. AND THAT WAS IT ! They did not bother to bring the food even after an hour of waiting. We were only fed bread rolls with butter. After telling them that we were unsatisfied with the overall service the manager tried to haggle for our buisness by cutting the price in half but to no success, then they even had the nerve to tack on the price of the drinks in the end. Even to the point of chasing us outside because we were short a couple of bucks.
