Grab a seat inside or on the patio, or watch the waves roll in from your seat on the rooftop. And don't bother getting up, since there's a bar up there, too. Best View In Hermosa

This is the only bar in Hermosa Beach where you can sip your cocktail while watching the sunset go down over the entire bay, all the way from Palos Verdes to Santa Monica (on a clear day). The food is typical bar food, but its good and they often have daily specials that are great deals (Tuesday - buy one burger get one free). On weekends it gets very busy, and you will often need to wait to get a table on the roof, but it will be well worth it. Drinks are good too! Try the greyhound.

Brunch at the Beach

This well known bar/restaurant on the Pier is one of my favorite places to catch breakfast...especially on a sunny day. I suggest an irish bloody mary and the eggs benedict. i substitute salsa for the hollandaise. The portions are generous and I have enjoyed every breakfast dish I have ordered. The wait may be a bit long, but is worth it, and if you can wait for the rooftop, do it.

Great chill hangout

Go there for breakfast for the Cap'n Crunch French Toast, go there for the burgers at dinner, and go there to cap off the night with a drink upstairs. This is one of my favorite places to chill in Hermosa Beach. Try the fish specials too!
