The Perfect Dive

Good Food! Good Service! Great Location!

This is a 'joint'. If you like corporate restaurants like Chili's or Ihop- stay away. This is a true hole in the wall.

The vibe is perfect. The wait staff is good looking.

The food is... well... too big!

Best burritos in the world!!!

This place is all about Hermosa Beach. It is a local hangout with great food and low prices. The plates are huge, the waitresses are cute and it is a party. I have a 2 year old and they even cater to her with a kids menu and crayons. My favorite place to eat in the South Bay. You won't be disappointed.

• Pros: Amazing food and atmosphere
• Cons: There is sometimes a wait.

Best of South Bay

Rescued by a South Bay local this Mexican restaurant has the best carnitas tacos and the Tuesday 2-for-1 deal makes them twice as good. The newer location in Manhattan Beach has better cooks and the food is definitely more consistent and better. The Hermosa Beach location is where we go when summertime rolls around and we want the view and the large party area on the roof; unfortunately we have to roll the dice on the food quality.

Best deal in southbay

Stop here tuesday evenings for 2 for 1 taco night. wonderful selections of choice of ingredients. Try the Xcholti( soul-chee) soup, a meal in tiself. Loaded with white chicken meat, avacado, rice and more.Try it and you won't be disappointed.

Awesome Mexican Grub

Looking for good mexican food? Go to El Gringo. Nestled in the residential neighborhood of hermosa beach, this place definitely has killer mexican food. The portions are huge at a cheap price. You can grab your grub and enjoy it under sun on the patio or on the on the roof.
