Wonderful Experience

I wanted to surprise my husband for his birthday with a romantic dinner followed by a night out. He has a favorite dish here that we used to get when we lived in the area, but it had been removed about a year ago. I called up Bottle Inn and not only did they specially make the dish for his birthday but they helped me preplan the entire menu. We got seating in the wine cellar which is just such a cool place to eat. The staff were beyond wonderful, and the food was the best I've had in quite some time (and we eat out regularly). He loved that all he had to do was sit down and I loved that Bottle Inn more than lived up to my hope and expectations. This is classic eating out at its best, and it doesn't hurt that they have a killer wine list either. We can't wait to be back at the beach at having our next meal at Bottle Inn.

I dont normally say things like this, but I felt highly discriminated b/c I didnt "look" like everyone else. the owner was outside greeting people and didnt even once look in our direction. He spent a lot of time with a "VIP" at the table next to us... anddidnt even look in our direction. No one asked if the food was good.. no one asked if we needed anything else.. and then when the food came.. ( which we hoped was the redeeming factor) it was just okay. The bill was way too much for the lack of taste and service. I know I wont go back again which is sad becasue the one redeeming factor is that it is right by the ocean.

• Cons: poor service, lack of parking

Not Great, Ask how much if offered a "special" or recommended bottle of wine.

I had heard that this place was fantastic from lots of friends. My first experience was not great. The waiter recommended a bottle of wine that turned out to cost $85. We didn't ask how much it would be. I thought that was a pretty rotton trick to get the check price up. The food was ok but not memorable. I went back again and had the same food experience this time without the $85 bottle of wine. Yawn! There are much better options out there for Itallian food.

Great service and food!

This place was great. It really is a romantic atmosphere, but I didn't feel too weird going to eat with my co-worker. There were people just going for the good food and atmosphere. The waiter was very friendly and had good recommendations. They have a great wine list and good bread. Try the salmon pizzetta appetizer, it was great! The best part was not the pasta however, it was their World Famous cheesecake. It is one of the best I've ever had!!! Unbelievable! Fluffy, and just the perfect flavor. It truly should be World Famous! The only bad thing about the restaurant is that they only serve wine. They do not have any liquor, so don't expect a nice glass of whiskey after your meal. I will definitely be back and will always save room for the cheesecake and a nice port. Try this place out, it's not a secret but after all the beach restaurants this place sets itself aside from the beach feel which can be a nice change for one evening.

• Cons: No liquor, just wine.
