In Short – Beach bums with morning papers fill outdoor tables. Inside, soothing tunes, cozy couches and tables attract night owls seeking respite from the raucous Hermosa scene. WRONG ORDERS

The only problem with Java Man in Hermosa is that they have a tendency to fill orders incorrectly. Twice in a row they've given me the wrong thing - last time I got regular coffee instead of flavored and this time a chocolate fudge pastry instead of German Chocolate. This might because they have an absentee owner.

Java man is great! Great breakfast burritos and coffee on the weekends! Great sandwiches for lunch! Free internet! Their only request - if you come to use the free internet, order more than just coffee, which is a fair request.

- Cons: No Air Conditioning, Have to buy more than just coffee to stay for long periods

The german chocolate cake is delicious with thick coconut icing. The chocolate brownie is enormous... And the chocolate cake with chocolate icing is soooo rich!
