Bars.... Great little dive bar that has a teriffic view. Right next to the ocean it also has a very good menu. Pool is always a great time there and the atmoshere is cool.

with a name like that, imagine what it smells like. One step into this bar, and you?ll know why it got its name; it?s absolutely disgusting. Because of its iconic reputation, my girlfriends and I went to check out this place one afternoon and immediately upon entering were made to feel extremely uncomfortable, not to mention out of place. We were very obviously ogled by what seemed to be some questionable regulars perched at the bar, then the bartender was rude (because we didn?t have cash), and the bathroom was unbearable. I?ve been to enough dive bars to know that this place is nothing more than a dump.

Good place to be with friends.
I used to be regular in 1983,then i had a chance to enjoy it again after 20 years .
Still a nice place to play pool and have a few drinks.
Ruan the bartender is a nice guy.
I'll go there anytime i'm in Hermosa.

The Name says it All. This has to be the ultimate beach dive bar. They have some of the best real estate in HB and any summer weekend or holiday the place is packed. It has an outdoor patio where you can typically find smokers or drunk groups playing a game of boat races. Nothing glamorous about this spot, but there is definitely some fun to be had there on occasion.

Have you seen my shoes?. The P**p Deck used to have $.25 pitchers at 8:00 every Thursday. Needless to say I lost my shoes one Thursday in 1984. Let me know if you've seen my shoes.

Wonderful View. This is a great place! Just across from the beach watching all the people walking and roller skating by. no better way to spend your lunch or dinner

People-watching, peanuts and pitchers of Bud make this longtime Hermosa Beach dive a splash..
In Short
Just yards away from the Pacific Ocean, the windows of this dive are perfect for people-watching. Inside, red vinyl bar stools are scattered among foosball, pool tables and even a handful of video games. There's even a peanut vending machine for those interested in a snack. Antique towel racks and lamps inside the bathrooms are a testimony to how long this bar has been around.

rudest staff in the south bay.
Not only did the bouncer use a very deragatory slur toward my group, the bartender was too busy opening his social security checks to serve our designated sober driver a cup of COFFEE. with all the other bars inches away, you'd think the crew here would be tad nicer to people who want to keep them employed.
no wonder it's called the poop deck. they treat customers like....poop.
