Love the Atmosphere!. We've been coming here since 1999. We love the atmosphere and style. The only thing i could think of that would make it better is a pillow top on the bed. Everything was quite superb. One slight waitress issue but that was it.

Fantastic staff and beautiful area. At this moment i cannot think of anything that would have made my stay better - the decorations for christmas were beautiful, the staff was attentive, the hotel was clean and the people were all so kind and helpful. Thank you!

GREAT hotel in prime location. The rooms are spacious and very Nantucket. Beds are huge and I love the fluffy white bedding. My kids love it!

Ocean Front are the best if you have a few extra bucks and want to look right at the ocean. Ocean view is great also.

Front desk have always been very gracious and have great restaurant suggestions.

I dream about sleeping there quite often and love that its a small drive away. Hope this helps.

A blissfully idyllic oceanfront hideaway that's just far enough away from L.A.. The Scene
This intimate inn is perfect for the spotlight-weary Angeleno who craves a quick and easy getaway. Hermosa is less than 30 minutes away from L.A., but the pace is palpably different. Laidback staffers point out that you'll go the entire weekend without having to worry about running into the ex at a city hot spot.

The Details
The refined beach house-themed interior exudes individual charm. Perhaps it's the lobby that isn't overrun with folks, or maybe it's the rubber duckies in every bathroom. Walk by and you might mistake the hotel for just another pretty Hermosa Beach apartment complex, which is really the point. Every room reflects this comfortable, homey feel with separate living and bedroom areas, a wood-burning fireplace and a luxuriously deep whirlpool tub. Feel free to wear your flip-flops and shorts wherever you may roam.

Misleading, bad customer service, avoid on busy weekends. Booked a partial ocean view room months in advance for St. Paddy's day and because the rooms were "sold out" the night before, I got a room on the bottom floor facing the parking structure which had NO view of the ocean whatsoever. Every time a loud truck drove by or crazy party goers strolled through, we heard it. Not only that, the room was not ready at check in time and the front staff (Tea in particular) was horribly rude when asked about it. Will not stay here ever again.

worth every penny!!!. kinda pricey, but worth every penny. the rooms are big and beautiful, it felt like a large apartment. it's got everything you want for a beach side hotel getaway. it's walking distance to great restaurants and shopping. rent a bike and ride to manhatten or redondo peir. i recommend mckormicks for good food and happy hour. club sushi....yummy. and the nightlife go to blue 32 or the lighthouse. stay away from the dragonhouse...horrible music and expensive watery drinks (2 nights in a row). o yeah...dont forget zippys for great pizza and beer. you would love it here, deffinitly better than the oc beaches.

Very Chic. Cool place to stay if you really want to be a part of the Hermosa Beach life. You are right on the beach, views of the ocean, and great fun just outside you doorstep. Check it out! Great for first time visits to the area.

Wonderful hotel on the beach. The Beach House is one of those rare finds that you come across only occassionally. Beautiful simple design throughout that is neither ostentatious nor cookie-cutter boring. The Beach House has amazing rooms that are incredibly comfortable with great amenities like a complete stereo system (not a wimpy portable), a comfortable couch, jacuzzi size bathtub and an in-room fireplace. Their definition of "partial beach view" is a bit of a stretch when your room is ground level on a street with cars parked directly in front of your window but the perfect facilities quickly made up for that. I'm sure all the locals know about this hotel but I was glad I stumbled across this gem in time for a relaxing day at the beach.
