A lot of people around Malibu really like this place, and it's always crowded but I really don't think it's as good as everyone says it is. I've been multiple times and while the food is good it is definitely not anything special. It's a fine place to stop in for lunch, but nothing to go out of the way for. Not to mention the servers can get a little high-maintenance, and are not the nicest staff in Malibu to be sure. Still though good brunch and decent lunch fare, and on top of that you're pretty much guaranteed a celeb spotting while you're there.

We just were so impressed with the wonderful food we got at Coogies! And the service was super too! It surpassed our expectations and we did get a very good value as well. Will definitely be going back to Coogies the next trip out to the West Coast.
