This place is closed. Try the Topanga Canyon Inn B&B. The Topanga Ranch Motel has, mercifully, closed. But don't dispair, the Topanga Canyon Inn B&B opened in late 2008 and is getting rave reviews. There is some place great to stay in Topanga, after all.

Buyer Beware!. My husband and I were originally interested in staying at the Casa Malibu Inn for our anniversary, but they were booked already. The Topanga Ranch Motel was listed next to it on Citysearch as a good alternative to the Casa Malibu Inn. We made reservations sight unseen. When we pulled into the Topanga Ranch parking lot, my husband I looked at each other with the "you've got to be kidding" look on our faces. There's a reason there was no picture on their website. We asked to look at a room, and cringed at the stained bedspread, sagging bed, and pitiful room. Needless to say, we did not end up staying there. This place would be great (maybe) for someone on a tight budget just looking for a place to crash after a day of surfing, but that's about it.
