nice big fatty, disgusting bathroom, elegant look, beautiful location, beautiful waterfall, very nice gentleman, rich experience
Very helpful with every need we had. I stayed here over the New Year celebrations in Malibu. The staff was friendly and very helpful with every need we had. The jacuzzi is top notch and very private.
We'll be back. We like it, we'll be back. It's simple, funny, dark and light. It's historical and in a great location.
You will leave with memories. The patio is great (smokers paradise). Who knows... You will leave with memories.
Very clean. The rooms were very clean and even had a fireplace. It is close to everything.
Thank you!.
Thank you for the amzaing hospitality!! It was the best we ever had!! We enjoyed our stay and loved the place very much. It felt like home! We didn't want to leave here!
We thank you tons and we will defently be back.
Top Notch!!. The staff was friendly and very helpful with every need we had. The jacuzzi is top notch and very private. The rooms were very clean and even had a fireplace. It is close to everything. We loved the Paradise Cove Beach Cafe down the highway and even saw Charlie Sheen and his dad having breakfast together.
Can you make a funeral worse?.
My family booked three rooms in this motel sight unseen for a family funeral. Our drive was from Arizona to Malibu after work on a Friday night (arriving very late). Our stay was so unsettling that we got very little sleep. One room had bugs in the shower, dirt on the floor and the bed was like sleeping on boards. The second room had spiders that had to be killed a dead spider carcass on the wall there was a hole in the shower ceiling stuffed with paper and again the bed was like sleeping on boards. The third was the worst of the three rooms. There was trash from the previous tenant sticky stuff on the floor, stopped up bathroom sink, a broken fridge a broken remote for the T.V. and again the bed was like sleeping on boards.
We decided as soon as the sun came up we would check out and leave since the office was closed. The office never opened before we had to leave for the funeral (8:30 a.m.) so we went to the funeral and would check out after. I called the hotel and talked to a gentleman (named Gary) who was very nice, apologized and said it would be no problem to come to the office after the funeral. However, when I went to check out at 12:30 p.m. the young lady in the office asked us to call Tricia (she said Tricia was the owner). After introducing myself on the phone Tricia yelled at me, told me she did not intend to play this game, I could not check out. She assured me she would charge the card I used to hold the room for both nights that we had booked and hung up on me. If you are ever given the opportunity to stay at this motel I would say DON’T
Quaint. This motel is "quaint". Don't go here for the rich "Malibu" experience. If you want that, go to the Malibu Beach Inn, (+$400/night). This hotel is right between Paradise Cove and Zuma Beach. If you want to stay in Malibu cheaply, with no frills, this is the place. Refrig. in room and a hot tub that is always available, just bring the bubbly and a nice big fatty.
