In Short – Family-founded in the heart of Silicon Valley in 1985, Fry's has become a staple for technophiles in the Western U.S. Keeping up with the latest technological trends, it offers quality computer hardware and software, audio and video equipment and telecommunication products. Each store, which range in size from 50,000 to 180,000 square feet, decorates the aisles with its own unique theme--from Alice in Wonderland to Atlantis--making every shopping trip a fun experience.
Forget Service . . . remember prices

Freekin' lousy customer service . . . Even worse parking . . . good availability of merchandise and good prices. Forget calling . . . long rings . . . convey info . . . transfer . . . more waiting . . . eventually it rang until I was disconnected. On angry call back I was told they didn't have a camera card in stock . . . although I later drove over and bought one.
- Pros: Price and variety
- Cons: Service and parking
Avoid! No customer service!

Fry's has to be the worst store near El Segundo business district. I don't mind the bad parking layout and the dark, dingy warehouse, but I couldnt' stand the customer service there. I tried to buy a camera last week (mar 07), asked the first sales person to check if they have the model I wanted in stock. After 20 minutes didn't hear from the guy again, I stroll around to the other side of the display to find him hiding chatting away with a female coworker. No big deal, I asked a second salesman to check if the item was in stock. After another 20 minutes wait, I saw this guy walking back to the camera display; this sales person had really short term memory spam, because he walked right pass me totally forgot to tell me if the camera was in stock or not and starting pushing merchandise to new customers behind me. I spent 40 minutes hanging out next to the camera display and was victimized by low IQ sales team from Fry's. Highly recomanded for those customers who have no life and who like to be treated like dirt.
- Pros: nothing
- Cons: bad parking, bad service, smelly store....
Great Prices, Great Selections

I am a fan of Fry's. It is a great place to get low cost comptuer products and they offer weekly sales that can be found in the local papers. The Sepulveda location has a huge selction of computer products. I cannot think of a store that offers better deals than Fry's. Best Buy, CompUSA, and Cicuit City routinely charge more for similar item than Fry's does.
It is best to go once you have an idea of what you are looking for. I agree with the previous reviewer that it is difficult to get someone to help you out in a timely fashion. However, no other place beats Fry's low prices and vast selctions.
The biggest complaint I have about this location is regarding the horribly designed parking lot.. Finding a sapce can be rather difficult during peak hours.
