Local Favorite for Value and Quality!. One of my favorite places in the South Bay. They have an extensive menu which is great if you want to make sure there is something on the menu that will appeal to everyone. Great sandwiches, omelettes, pasta, salads, appetizers, soups, desserts... like I said there is something for everyone. Great value on glasses of wine. My favorite meal is their French Onion Soup (which rules) and a glass of Zinfandel - I am in heaven! And on top of all of it, they are open 24 hours and they seriously have some of the best servers in the South Bay. I'm rarely disappointed.

Perfect 24hr. Food. If you're hungry, this place has it. Most 24 hr. places don't have many options, but this place has everything you want. It does get a little busy, but then again, there aren't many places open that can offer good food and service at all hours of the day , so it's well worth the wait if you're hungry after a long night out on the town. My favorite is their Vinaigrette dressing. If you get a salad, you have to have that dressing. So, if you're looking for the perfect late night munchies fix, cozy up at the The Kettle.

Best 24-hour spot I've been to.. I first heard of this place when I was just driving by from Palos Verdes. When I came back one evening, I was hooked. Their wraps are great, and I liked the ambiance when I was there in the wee hours of the morning. If you handle the crowds and noise that is associated with that place sometimes, then I make it a point to go.

Neighborhood hangout offers 'round-the-clock service and home-style dishes.. In Short
Crowds of lean-bodied gals, Manhattan Beach mommies and surfer dudes fill patio tables. Inside, wooden booths and counter space create a casual coffee-shop atmosphere. Breakfast is the main draw, with large omelettes, a variety of pancakes and French toast. At lunch and dinner, salads and sandwiches are served alongside comfort food like popcorn shrimp and hamburgers. The French onion soup is a house specialty.

Wow.. It has been a long time since I've had the pleasure of dining at such an excellent restaurant. The service is top notch; friendly staff, prompt service, willing to customize the order for what you exactly want. Here is an excerpt from their menu "This menu is merely a guideline, feel free to be creative", its this kind of unique flavor that gives this place a really homey and comfortable feel. Don't think thats all they have to offer though, the food they offer is top quality, and they bring it out faster than you can eat it.

Get there early on Friday and Saturday, their slow roasted prime rib will be gone before you have a chance to sample one of the finest dishes in Southern California.

A higher class Denny's. If you're in the South Bay area, the Kettle is the best place for food after a night of drinking. Just be prepared for a wait.

if you love mimi's cafe.... then you'll love the kettle

the food is almost exactly the same [now i wonder who came first]

anyways nice people [sometimes slow when it's busy but hey what restaurant isn't?]

fast seating though and they even have free coffee and muffins while you wait!

the pomosa [pomegrante juice and champagne] was good and the crab cake eggs benedict was delicious [ask for the hollandaise on the side as they give you a LOT] oh good food and good times make for a fun place. also it's 24 hours so... post bar scene and late nighters crowd the seats

Great Food!. We live in West LA and come to MB on the weekends and eat here. The food is tasty, the portions are big, and the service is excellent. We like the prices as well. We tried everything from appetizers to entrees and couldn't find something we didn't like. On top of all this, it has very nice and comfy outside seating which we really enjoyed. Although during lunch and immediately after tanning hours it gets really crowded. But, I highly recommend this place to everyone.

GREAT ATMOSPHERE! EXCELLENT BREAKFAST!. I don't know if it was the fact we were on vacation or simply the restaraunt was so good, but we thoroughly enjoyed our meals at the Kettle! We were only in Manhatten beach for 4 days, but we ate at the Kettle twice....we should have had all our meals there! ( another local eatery seriously blew!) We will definitely be back!!!Try the CAlifornia Benedict...mmmm...yummy!

I LOVE The Kettle. The Kettle! I dream about it every night. I love this place. I love the food, the atmosphere, the smell as you enter the restaurant. Nothing beats going to The Kettle, nothing!
