Ehh A Cheap Place to Hangout :). The wait is always long, the service is always terrible..I've been forgotten about on the patio and there have been times when our food took about an hour..but it's cheap, and the atmosphere is fun and it's a good place to hang out for a couple hours :)

A chain microbrewery satisfies with comfort-food classics and award-winning beers.. The Scene
BJ's boasts a trendy reclaimed-barn look with vaulted redwood beams. Eclectic touches abound; rococo mirrors sparkle against corrugated-iron walls and the odd chandelier sprouts absentmindedly amidst Art Deco lamps. The bar area boasts beer-label posters and the ubiquitous big-screen TV blaring the big game on ESPN.

The Food
The extensive, carbo-loaded menu is perfect for buffering those home brews. The bruschetta, loaded with tomatoes, is a favorite and the minestrone is stew-thick with a hint of oregano. The fish and chips gives mixed results: wedge-cut fries are seasoned and crispy; but the doughy, Blonde Ale-battered cod flounders without its tartar sauce. The pizzas are deep-dish, robust pies; the Spinach & Artichoke is lusciously creamy--a perfect yin-yang experience when split with spicy blackened chicken in an Alfredo sauce. For dessert, try a deep-dish Pizookie. The massive white-chocolate cookie comes studded with macadamias and topped with vanilla bean ice cream. BJ's home-brewed root beer float makes for another sweet ending.

Good neighborhood hangout.. This is a nice neighborhood hangout, but the food is so-so. The pizza is not as good as it once was (a long time ago); it is too greasy and doughy (like gooey and raw like). The beer is good, but limited selections. Some other breweries have better beer. Over all this place is okay.

HORRENDOUS- try the Argentinean grill next door. I went to BJ's last night with my boyfriend, brother and cousin. We waited half an hour to be seated. We ordered, and 50 minutes later, we were wondering where our food was. Finally, the waitress confessed that she had lost our order. We reordered, and our food arrived 30 minutes later. Being a vegetarian, I had asked for no meat in my Italian salad, but when I started to eat it, I noticed that they had ignored my request. Then my boyfriend said "ugh! my steak is cold!" Now I figured he was exaggerating, that it was warm, but when I touched his steak, it was like they had stuck this piece of meat in a freezer before they served it to him. After getting our waitress' attention she took the steak back, only to "reheat" it and serve it back to my boyfriend. AND it was still cold.

AWESOME!!!. BJs is probably my favorite chain restaurant of all time! Everything that I've had there has been great! And they have a wide variety of different foods, so even the pickiest eater can find something to eat here! You definitely have to try their Avocado Rolls - you will absolutely fall in love! And if you dare, order one of their HUGE potatoes....especially their chicken alfredo one! Yum! It's also a great place to go & just hang out & have a couple drinks with your friends! Believe me....you won't be disappointed!

A Fun Place With Good Food. BJ's is a great place for a drink with the team after a well-played game, a casual dinner, and much more. The menu offers a variety of tasty treats though I'm partial to their salads and pizza. The beer that they brew is great; the Nutty Brewnette is my favorite. Save room for dessert. The freshly baked Pizookie is awesome.

good food/sports bar. BJs is another of many good SCV restaurants (not great, but good) Great place to hand out, watch the game and eat. I love microbrewed beers and theirs are very good. Food is good, kind of feels like the chain it is, but better than average "chain" food. Pizza is good, but not really true Chicago pizza (but still good). I like going and will return. Again too many people giving places 10s that don't deserve a 10!

Tasty.... This is a great place to watch any televised game. BJ's is always packed with a crowd. They also have a special price to try a sample of all their brewed beer. Want pizza? They have that....but it's not your average pizza. They have b-b-g chicken pizza. Other oddides include a great big stuffed potato, meatball style, drenched in marina sauce with meatbals. These meals are definately for the adventurous types. Everyone has to eat the Pzookie for desert. This a giant, warm, just baked cookie in a pan (the size of a personal pizza) with vanilla ice cream on top! Delicious...

beer and sports. This is a great place to come and watch a game or grab some beer. Grab your friends and your wallet and dont forget to try the famous pizookie. That is the best desert i have had in awhile. See ya there!
