BEST car dealership. i feel so grateful to have been taken care of by gavin pierce and gabe romero - they got me an amazing deal on the 2012 prius c (which is not an easy vehicle to come by this summer). incredible customer service, definitely went the extra mile for me and answered all my questions graciously and honestly. i will absolutely go back for my next car and highly recommend getting your toyota or scion from them.

I truly appreciated the experience of leasing a car through this dealership yesterday, and THAT is not something you expect to hear when car shopping! We spent several days this week exploring many options and dealerships, and the minute we met Joel Rabe we felt like we were "home" because he "got" our needs immediately. His demeanor was friendly and professional which was SO refreshing after our experience at another local dealership the day before.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE...THEY TRIED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF A SENI. I took my mother to John Elway Toyota in Manhattan Beach to buy her a new car. My mother is a sweet, tiny, 83 year old widow on a LIMITED budget. We found her car, her color and her price. First, after one hour, they tried to tell us they no longer had her car in the color she wanted. Then, after sitting around for 2 hours, we get to the finance manager and he tells us the deal is not the deal they ORALLY CONTRACTED to with us. They fought my poor senior citizen mother over $500...which was THEIR mistake. The customer is NOT always right at this dealership. Make sure you are ready for the "bait and switch'" if you patronize this dealership. IT WAS OFFENSIVE THAT THE TRIED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF A WIDOW!!!

Great Service, love this place. I would like to say that this was truly a wonderful buying experience. I needed to purchase a vehicle for my daughter, as she is getting ready to go to school and decided to go to my local Toyota store. I was very pleased with the service and also the professionalism that I was given by Ismail and his Manager Brad Sperber. The two of them made it a wonderful experience and I will defiantly recommend Manhattan Beach Toyota to my friends.

Thanks for the great service and keep it up.

Best Car Buying Experience... EVER!!!. Excellent salesmanship! I highly recommend John Elway’s Manhattan Beach Toyota!! I came to the dealership to purchase a new Toyota Prius and was greeted by Dennis Paz. I told him I was just researching and starting my car-buying experience. He told me that was no problem and allowed me to drive the Prius. He answered all of my questions, and was very informative. At the end of the day he introduced me to his Manager, Brad Sperber. Both of them helped me and gave me true and honest numbers for the Prius and my trade. I went home and talked to my wife and we came to the conclusion that the Prius was the vehicle for us. I called Brad who helped me with a couple more questions and then had Dennis get the Prius ready, took some of my info over the phone so all paperwork was ready and waiting for both my wife and I to finish. This was truly and enjoyable car-buying experience and I really appreciate the honesty and integrity that I received from John Elway’s Manhattan Beach Toyota.

4 Timing Belts. John Q. will sell you as many timing belt packages as he feels is needed. (only 1 required at 100K & the amount of money needed to pay his personal bills!)

Just ask his team leader! He will argue will the advisor, but John Q. will insist he performs the service because he has already ripped them off. (he already sold it!$$$$ There are alot of idiots going to manhattan beach toyota to see John Q. especially if you are a mature senior or differant life style,(just because he's sweet, doesn't mean he is Honest!) Any TRUCK owners out there should be aware of the over selling of not needed services.

His manager Kevin Cho condones this type of arm twisting overselling tactics. THE B.A.R. is aware! Watch out! P.S. also watch out for Eli. ( John's cohort, also known as mini Q.

This place is a rip-off. I love my 4Runner, but this place is a total rip off. I bought my truck here and have had all subsequent scheduled maintenance performed here. However, everytime I go it seems to cost more and more money, and conveniently it's always around tax time ( last year it was right after everyone got their stimulus refunds). I have the powertrain and bumper-to-bumper warranties, but nothing ever seems to be covered. My experience at Manhattan Beach Toyota makes me want to go to automotive technician school. I feel like I was lied to when I bought my trck and I am gouged whenever I take it for maintenence. But this is the last time. I wish I had read some of these online reviews before I went here. Please learn from my mistakes and avoid this place.

Waste of Time & Energy. Sunday 7/13, Toyota of Manhattan Beach dealership posted commercial for Toyota Camry LE $18,995 in LA Times Cars section. Being an attractive deal, we drove down and made our intentions very clear from the beginning and agreed with the dealership that we were interested ONLY if the selling price is as advertised.

We test drove two Camry?s before we finally agreed to buy one. After filling some paper work we were finally told the 2 car we drove were not part of the deal and there was a 3rd car (the color they knew we did not like). This made us upset, as we had spent 3 hours test driving and discussing talking before we agreed on the car. There was never a hint of price being other then the one advertised. And to make the matters worse ? they told us to LEAVE!! (Point-blank). I?ve no clue why we were told to leave. I was also told that they will not return our paper work that had all my personal information, because we test drove THEIR car. I had to raise my voice and vehemently demand for the paper work before it was finally returned.

I was in a state of shock after this entire experience. I was never provided with a reason nor could myself think of one, for the way I got treated. Not that I?m not familiar with car dealers tactics but this was a dis-heartening practice I had witnessed. Was it racially motivated or what? :) no idea. I what to report them but don't know where?

People involved were Mario & Don (Unfortunately, I don't remember others who were involved)

There are lots of car-dealers in LA, I would avoid them if possible. They proved to be waste to my time & energy.

I had a great experience at MB Toyota.. Everyone from the sales staff to the service dept. people treated me with respect. I didn't feel like I was just a number. John in service diagnosed my problem and even recommended ways I could save money on the service. Best of all, I got my car back on time. You can really tell that under their new management things have changed. Cudos to their staff.

Manhattan beach toyota gives excuses. I bought a 2007 Camry about a year ago. It has 12,700 miles and noticed the front tires have less than 1/32 thread. (dangerous to drive) . I took it Dec 3, 2008 to the dealer and service manager said because the weight on that car is in the front and it was normal. The rear tires are like brand new. Then he said I did not have proper inflation, I said the car system should have warned me, maybe something wrong with the warning system? Never mind. Asked me if I had rotated the tires, I said no. He said thats your problem and nothing he could do. Told me to go to a big tire dealer to see if they would replace them for me. He said he douted it. I just took my car and bought new tires.

If they know there is a problem with the car or the front tires of the Camry they should warn customers about the front tires being worn out with less than 12.000 mies. I have had many cars and never rotated the tires (I am 56 yrs old). This is the first time I had to replace tires at 12,700.

I want the dealer to warn people of this problem before they buy at Manhattan beach toyota.
