Great breakfast place. Stopped in a a busy Saturday AM. Food was great (get the Local Yolk omelet), they made my girlfriend the kind of pancakes she wanted....even though they aren't on the menu. I thought this was great service considering the place was packed. We got our food fast too, again, surprising b/c of the crowd.

Average American breakfast. Though the Americana menu does feature some Mexican dishes, for the most part this place is kind of boring. If all you're looking for are some eggs and toast, the Local Yolk has a kick-back vibe worth trying out. But, otherwise if you're around North Manhattan Beach and it's before 3pm, just go across the street to North End Cafe for spectacular sandwiches.

Great low key food. LOVE thier spicy guac. and Jack omlet! There are few foods I crave like I do this omlet! The muffins are always really good too. The atmosphere is nice, nothing special, service is always good, there are some outside tables that you can sit at with your dog. Over all its a nice low key meal. I dont recomend thier delivery though, I find when I have it delivered it is either dryed out, undercooked, or soggy.

Poor poor service under new ownership, sadly. This place used to be great. My family has been going here since day 1, but we had to ask four times for condiments several times for the check and countless times for refills of coffee and water. Food was slow slow slow coming out. What was the problem...the staff too busy talking with friends and favorite customers rather than treating all diners equal. Save your effort and go to Uncle Billy's just up the street...much better.

Fantastic breakfast! Great coffee! Sidewalk tables. This is a great spot in the North End in Manhattan Beach. Lots of locals go there, and very popular on the weekends. There can be a line, but the tables turnover pretty fast. Daily specials with good portions. I personally love the biscuits that are made fresh there. Great coffee in particular the Dark Roast.

yolk it up. Stumbled in here for a Sunday morning breakfast after a fun Saturday night on the town... The Jalapeno Hash was unbelievable... the iced teas come in little glasses, but are refilled lots. Everyone was super nice, we sat down right away, and even if you have to wait, I noticed that the staff brings out little apple crumble tastey's and muffin samples, and there's coffee to be had out on the sidewalk, so you're still being treated well. Go!

Excellent Breakfast!!!. This is a great place to start your day. The food is excellent.
