I'm not exactly a connoisseur of ski/surf at all, and the people here were so great in helping me find the equipment I needed and even gave me some pointers. I had done a bit of shopping around already, and this place by far was most reasonably priced and helpful...the other stores I had been to had not been nearly as attentive and informative in helping me find what I needed. They have everything you need at a good price and people who know what they're talking about...check it out!

Top notch guys and service!! I've never been more impressed with a shops ski knowledge then I was with this place. Was definitely cool to walk into a shop that's near the beach and be transported to the mountain just like that. Very unique store with that old ski chalet feel. What was more amazing was the fact that every ski and snowboard they sell they've personally tried themselves and can tell you exactly how it skis or rides and can pretty much tell you what will work for you. Not only that they're certified boot fitters and they definitely have that down to a science. I made the mistake of buying boots at Sport Chalet and was sized to big and these guys managed to fix my problem. I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking for Ski, Snowboard, Surf, Skate, or Clothing in the Southbay. Definitely worth the drive. They have just as much fun in the summer and have some of the best prices on surfboards around. The new owners have definitely brought a younger more lively feel to the store, and they're hot too!!
Pros: Parking, Location, Customer Service
Cons: Little tricky to get into the parking lot (on the divided part of Artesia) but it's worth it!!
