Patient. I was told I have astigmatism and had no clue what the heck that meant. They explained it to me and detail and it took a while but I got it. They are very patient and friendly. Not a bad selection of frames either.

Great selection. I got my new glasses here and boy do they have a wide selection of glasses! Very stylish/modern! The quality is worth every penny!

Two thumbs up!. They have a wide variety of frames and the best thing about it is that they have affordable prices. The staff is super nice and the doctor is great. Their schedule is good. The turn around time for contact lenses are great.

So friendly. I needed a new pair of sunglasses for this sunny summer. My friends told me to come here and I was really impressed! They have a great selection and the staff is so friendly!

What a great store!. What a great store! The store was spacious with lots of room for sunglasses! I am sunglass-challenged, and alerted the staff as such, and they were extremely helpful and worked with me for over an hour to find the best pair.

AVOID these guys. Seriously. If you don't get it yet... this place reeks. Owners are mean people. I had no luck getting help with a hinge screw that came out. I was told "look up their number and call them" -

I guess my $100 sunglass purchase wasn't worth any post-sale effort. I'll duck in here once in a while to look, but I'll go elsewhere to buy. Would never drop a dime here again.

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!. One star is too many. This is by far the worst business I have ever been to. The owner, Mike, is so rude and willing to bleed you out of every dollar. You would think that because he is in Manhattan Beach he would be running a legitimate business, but not true. Tried to sell me a pair of sunglasses "no tax".

Please read all the negative reviews, they are accurate!! Any positive ones i am convinced were written by his friends!

Great customer service. Not sure what the other reviewers are talking about. Great customer service at this store. I bought a pair of prescription lenses, and they went out of their way to make an eye appointment for me. They also were really great with making recommendations on wich lenses to try on. I found two great pairs!!! Will go back again.

WORST SERVICE EVER. The guy that owns the store (older guy with glasses) is the worst retailer you would ever encounter! I bought three pairs of sunglasses from him and once I was trying to exchange a pair and couldn't (although he had 30 days exchange policy). When I told him I was changing my mind and considering getting another pair, he was reluctant to show me the other selection - barely a couple of sunglasses and then told me I should just keep the old ones. Also, I made the mistake of going back and trying other sunglasses with a girlfriend. We did not end up buying anything so on our way out the guy said "I knew you would not buy anything!." Horrible! As if we can't afford the sunglasses and I was even an old customer. Who would say something like that? Only a complete idiot!

AVOID TRENDY SUNGLASSES LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!. I hate writing bad reviews but after visiting this store I feel like I have to. The man who operates this store is one of the most pretentious "A" holes I've ever encountered in retail. ...and that's saying alot! After trying on a pair of prescription frames he was outwardly frustrated that I wanted to try on another pair. After being incredibly put out by letting me try on another (I was the only one in the store), I then told him that $500 dollars was a lot of money and I wanted to make sure I was getting what I wanted. He then scoffed at that remark and said $500 is nothing. He said he has glasses over $1,000 and that $500 doesn't mean anything. He said this all with the most condescending tone I've ever heard. He said he would wave the tax on the lenses since I've purchased 2 pairs of sunglasses from him before. Like I don't know that it's ILLEGAL to charge tax on prescription lenses!! This guy is a hustler. And he was treating me this way after I've done business with his establishment in the past! When I wasn't ready to buy right then he hurried me out of the store. Every time I go there it just gets worse and worse. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO TRENDY SUNGLASSES AGAIN!! AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!!!
