Michael Nguyen -Giving you SEXY back!. I 'm happy to announce the best hair stylist can be found at the Londoner. I walked in one Sunday and Michael was there to greet me. I briefly explained to him my concern with my gray hair, more on the temple and crown area. He gave me a couple of suggestions and I was immediately in love with him. Beautiful Art Rendered Daily. This salon is nothing short of inspiring and that's because of its talented team. No matter what chaos I bring for Jerry Madrid to sort out, he deploys all of his genius and skills to exult a common waif like me into a beautiful and confident woman. From his creative coloring innovations to his hair-cutting mastery, Jerry simply intuitively knows how to tailor the right styling solution.

I have often been neglectful of my hair, unrepentant about my split ends, and completely corruptible concerning my profligate hair-dyeing ways. Despite all this nonsense, Jerry heals, tends, and mends my tresses into a wondrous state. It is one thing for a hair professional to take a blank canvas and concoct a thing of beauty. It is an altogether different matter for someone to take my hair, a.k.a. "the train wreck", and to magically transform it into a seductive asset. That is called artistry. And if you want artistry, go to The Londoner and book an appointment with Jerry.

By the way, the entire staff is sweet and down-to-Earth, so expect to be treated kindly. Yes, this is an oasis.

The Talented and Capable Hands of Jerry. After moving to Los Angeles about 6 years ago, I bounced around to many different hairstylists in search of the perfect fit. Then I found Jerry at the Londoner Salon in Manhattan Beach.

I started going to Jerry about a year and a half ago and new immediately I was in very capable hands. Jerry is very attentive, talented, has integrity, is honest and listens to what I am looking for. When I sit down in the chair we have an actual conversation about what it is I want to accomplish and how best to do that. He asks questions, gives me examples and makes sure that I am comfortable with our plan of action before he starts implementing.

Jerry also has great vision for what looks right on each person. Recently, I decided I wanted to do something a little different. I went in with all these pictures and ideas. Jerry sat down with me and told me what each option would look like on me, with my hair, color, structure etc. Together we put together a plan that I was comfortable with and I could not have been happier with the outcome!

His honesty, integrity and candidacy are very refreshing. I know that no matter what he will always give me the complete and honest truth.

The other plus…he is a nice genuine person and great to chat with during my visit.

Michael Nguyen is Excellent!. My former cut and drab natural hair color made for one unexciting, blah image. I needed a change! A friend highly recommended Michael Nguyen at The Londoner. He spent a lot of time with me initially to sort through pictures I brought with me of hairstyles and colors I liked. He pointed out pros/cons of each and what would look and work best for me. I had never colored my hair before, so I was tentative about the whole process at first. He made it easy for me to understand all the options.

Needless to say, after my first appointment I left with a new hairstyle and a hair color that looked fabulous. That was six months ago. I still get 1-2 compliments per week on my hair, many from total strangers! It made me look years younger. Michael is meticulous and pays attention to the details. I'm a regular now and continue to be pleased. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

The Londoner Salon is beautifully appointed and staffed by friendly and attentive people. You'll like it a lot, and won't be disappointed with Michael!

Jerry Madrid. I tried out many salon's in the area and had a lot of trouble really finding a men's stylist that could deliver what I was looking for. I was extremely frusturated until I tried out Jerry---I have since been going back for over a year.

Jerry was extremely knowledgeable and attentive from day one. He is extremely passionate about his trade and wants to make sure I am 100% satisfied everytime I come in. Combe this with his expertise and I feel great after every haircut. If you're looking for an expert in men's hair, I would definitely recommend giving Jerry a shot. I am 100% confident you will go back and not have to worry again about finding a good stylist.

Michelle is it L.A.. Michelle has been doing my hair for over a year now. I read a review about the salon on city search and I'm soo happy that I chose the right person to go to. I get so many compliments everywhere on how amazing my hair looks specially my color. Michelle really gets me. She does whatever I ask her to do. I change my style pretty often and she always gives me what I ask for. If you want a great hairstylist, go to Michelle. I love her.

Jerry Mardird. The minute I walked into the Londoner Salon I was astonished. The decor is immaculate and no detail is left unfinished. I was greeted by Jerry, my new stylist, and we instantly had a connection. He understood exactly what hair color and cut I wanted, it was like he read my mind. I was even offered a drink while my color was processing. After I had the most relaxing shampoo in my life Jerry took his time and gave me and amazing hair cut. He made sure every strand was exactly the length it was supposed to be. I have long hair and sometimes struggle when hair stylists cut too mucj off and don't listen when I say that I want to keep it long, but he took off just the right amount. My blow out looked good even after 3 days!!! I left the salon feeling like a million bucks! I would recommend Jerry Madrid if you're looking for a good haircut, amazing color, and even better conversation!

Great haircut and salon experience. I've always wanted a short haircut, but have been hesitant for years because my hair is very straight and thin, and my fear is that it would just be flat to my head. A few weeks ago, I just said, what the heck, and made an appointment with Jerry Madrid. From the minute I walked in the door, I was very impressed with the Londoner. After I checked in and sat down, Jerry came over and walked me to the restroom to put on a robe and directed me to his station. We discussed what type of look I wanted, and expressed my concerns about going short. He made me feel at ease, and made some great recommendations....in the end, I ended up LOVING the cut. He added a lot of texture to the back which makes my hair look very full and the cut frames my face perfectly.

Jerry is very detail oriented, easy to talk to, and you can tell he is very passionate about his career. The salon had a very upbeat and hip vibe, and everyone was very friendly and weloming. I will definitely make another appointment with Jerry and I highly recommend him as a Stylist and the Londoner Salon as well.

Junko. i moved to LA 3 years ago and walked into the londoner salon for a haircut and luckily Junko was available. it was love at first site! i have always used a barber b/c i thought my hair was easy to cut. what i found was that junko has given my hair a level of pristineness that i did not know was possible. my only problem is that she makes me look so good that i want to go back every 2 weeks so that i constantly look my best, which only she has been able to accomplish. thanks to junko and the entire staff, who always treat me like i own the place.

P.S. my favorite part is the washing, conditioning, and massage that she gives me.

Great cuts color and and a great guy. Jerry has been my stylist for the last few years.He always listens to what I want and balances my request with what he knows will be good for my hair.

I have been to many high end super expensive salons, and Jerry has always done as good if not better than those places.You will get exactly what you want with Jerry!! Love him!
