Menu Lies

I brought a group of friends to Robeks since there smoothies are good (but expensive) and they have what appears to be an excellent and healthy menu. We were quite disappointed to find that this restaurant actually offered none of the food on the giant menu that sits on the wall right above the employees head. You can get a pretzel or cookies, but the menu listed salads and sandwiches, none of which were available then or at any time. I was baffled, I asked him if they ever sold food and he laughed and said no, he seemed annoyed that I would be asking such a silly question. False advertising at it's best. Anyway, if you want a smoothie, try going somewhere that actually puts it's food where it's mouth is.

• Pros: Smoothies are good and the employees make them quickly
• Cons: The menu doesn't actually have what it says it has.

I went in and the guy at the counter recommended a raspberry smoothie which I decided wasnt such a bad idea. I figured. Heck why not have a full blown meal. Got myself a healthy style oatmeal cookie. As i bit into it...my spine sent senses to my cerebellum telling me to rejoice. Robeks has some good smoothies. But its a little more costly than orange julius. But its also expected as its higher up on the smoothie making food chain. Come in and compare!
