Great menu, awesome service every time. Highly recommend the Chicken Tikks Masala,I drive all the way from Malibu for it!

They stole from me. I ordered take out from this place, it was too expensive but the food was fine. But when I got the bill on my credit card it was for $5 more than I authorized. Not being the suspicious type I figured it was a mistake and took my copy of the receipt and a copy of my credit card bill to the restaurant to remedy the situation. Well after no aplology I was told they would have to take the situation to the owner and they would send me a refund. Well weeks later I've heard nothing from them.

They steal from me, I have to go to the restaurant to get my money back, they promise to remedy the situation and do nothing? This is why the Internet was created, to provide a forum for people to know what places are really made of. Do not go to this place. If not for the mediocre food, for the $5 they stole from me.

Indian Food GOLDMINE. It's a rich & plentiful source for Indian Cuisine nestled in the heart of pacific palisades. The dishes I jovially consumed were chicken biryani and paneer chilli which with every morsel had bursting flavor. Lovely inside ambiance with great music facilitating a relaxing feel.

best indian food hands down. First of all i would like to start with lizwom the member of citycheers who left a comment on 05/10/07 about taj palace. she has to be out of her mind to say any kind of negative stuff about taj palace, they are so fare with their prices and the service they provide is as if you belonged to their family, I ordered one extra item which i dint want so i asked Nick (our waiter) to take it back , and he had no problem doing so. and as far as tip goes they never add no tips, all i have to say is lizwom got some issues for saying all that about one of the finest food, it is just amazing,

and for lizwom you can call me on my cell 323 359 6503. to help u with your issues, and for all the city members do yourself a favour and go try their food for once , you'll b thankfull to yourself for doing so.

they also have coupons aswell in case if u are short of money.

my fav that i always get.

1 mango chicken curry.

2 lamb chops

3 chicken tikka

4 shrimp biryani.

5 taj naan.

they have the widest variety of dishes in their menu, i've been to many indian restaurants but no1 come close to their menu. And i prefer you ask for Nick or sonia.

Do not dine here, they will mischarge your credit card. The food is also awful.. Clearly, the last review was made by a sector of this company. It is too hyped up. You need to know the real story. The food here is quite over-priced, tasteless, and not authentic. A bigger problem arised when I checked my bill. I ordered food for takeout, and they took the liberty to tack on an extra 20% tip when I clearly indicated 0.00$. Under California State Law, no one is required to leave a tip for pickup, and under California restaurant penal code, it is illegal for an employee to mischarge a custumer and report and charge a false amount on the bill. So, if you have dined here in the past, please check your credit card statements/bank statements, to make sure, that you too, were not mislead. They are misleading us, members of the Palisades, I hope you too have no become subject to their prey.

One of the best restaurants in the Palisades. The Palisades doesn't have much going on in terms of restaurants, but this is one of the better places. It's not amazing Indian food, but it's quite tasty, and they do a nice job with dishes like Tandoori chicken and Lamb Saagwalla. The atmosphere is pleasant and not too crowded, the service is good, the prices are reasonable and they are very good for take-out. If you eat in the Palisades very often and haven't tried this place, you should definitely try it for your next outing.
