Healthy Mexican. This place used to be great, but there seems to be less flavor everytime I go. A bit bland but passable. The antifreeze colored margaritas are a bit scary. Kid friendly place, unfortunately, I hate children.

Needs something, but overall ok mexican. This place is ok. It claims to be healthy and without lard, but I couldn't tell. Which may be a good thing. But the only thing I wish there was more of is a stronger taste. It's kind of like everything needs something. I added salt, but then everything was just too salty. This place is good for people that like mild food. Nothing on the menu has a very strong flavor. But it has a very nice ambience. A calm place to eat

Fresh Mex cantina that emphasizes Crayolas over Cuervo.. The Scene
A colorful array of pinatas and miniature ukeleles hang alongside vibrant creations drawn by Kay & Dave's preschool-aged customers. Rather than downing margaritas, the family-friendly crowd is more likely to be ensuring the artistic masters-at-work don't dip their crayons into the salsa.

The Food
Home-style cantina dining takes a hint from the "fresh Mex" restaurant chains. Nearly every dish is made with as little fat as possible, and even lard-free tortillas are available on request. The guilt-free spinach tostada is heaping with fresh green leaves, a sprinkling of black beans, herb-flecked rice and a splash of vinaigrette. Seafood tacos and enchiladas are laden with fresh ahi and swordfish, and soft, sweet tamales are packed with warm spinach, chile and cheese. Vegetarians dig the garden burrito--a flour tortilla swaddled with spinach, grilled onions and mushrooms. Room for dessert? The crispy banana flautas are doused in a sinfully sweet chocolate syrup.

Not so hot. The food was tasteless, the service was slow, and the enchilada's were made with a very poor processed cheese, the kind you find in an american singles box. The rice tasted like water, and the beans tasted charred. I do not reccomend dining in this restaurant. It is also quite pricey.

Terrific!. Great food and friendly service. The best bread pudding I've ever had! Too bad there are so many kids.....that'll ruin any atmosphere, but it's still worth going.
