best secret in south bay. Anyone who's driven by this south bay institution has seen the crowd gathered around the front, with those in the know yelling out seemingly random numbers. it's simply the best mexican food around; huge burritos, the best tostadas-all only a block away from the beach.

Giant Burritos!. The best burrito ever. My husband loves the carne asada, while I am partial to the carnitas. Thankfully, they offer their super deluxe burritos (which have everything on them) in junior size. The man who takes the orders at the counter can be somewhat unfriendly and doesn't take very kindly to answering questions when the line is long. But after several visits he recognized me and was a lot nicer! Be sure to call in your order or you'll have a bit of a wait.

South Bay Landmark!. When driving on P.C.H. in Redondo Beach, the small mexican food stand El Burrito Jr. cannot be missed. It's the one with people lined up in front of it ANYTIME they are open. You can expect high quality mexican food at very affordable prices. Try the Deluxe burrito, you won't be disappointed!
