BAR LEGEND of REDONDO BEACH. Was surprised to see the last review of this GREAT BAR was in 2008! WTF?

Bac Street is one of those GREAT DOWN-HOME BARS.

No matter how busy or mellow, there's always a cool vibe and people having fun. The staff and owners (who also tend bar, generously style good patrons, if you get my drift) are cool, seem always genuinely happy to see us when we are there.

Pool, darts, LOTTO, THEME PARTIES, good tunes and JUST A DAMN GOOD BAR to and a great escape.

Once great bar now needs to be avoided - quite a shame. Oksana is the only consistently good bartender yet she rarely has a shift. Pricing is inconsistent from person to person and shift to shift. The owner is hostile and rude for no apparent reason. Many ABC violations are obvious at a casual glance, including alcohol being served to minors. The men's room in quite unsanitary as observed over a few visits. The Karaoke Jockey, Daryl, tells some singers that their song will come up soon and then never play it for the entire evening. Additionally, many substance abusers (especially tweakers) and some sellers hang out at this place on any given night. If you park in the tiny lot be prepared to risk vandalism to your car or at the least to have some guy urinate on it. Quite honestly, on the whole, the Bac Street Lounge is the least appealing and often the most revolting bar in the South Bay. The place was once a great 'dive' bar when Robby was the owner. It's a shame to see what 'Bobbo' has done to the place since he bought it - simply run it into the ground. If I have saved even one hopeful bar patron from making the mistake of visiting this place then the time and effort to disclose this review was worth it.

ADDENDUM: DANGEROUS PLACE

As if one shooting in the tiny lot, with the slug piercing the wall and lucklily missing everyone in the bar before lodging in the bar counter itself, wasn't enough . . . one of the nastiest bartenders there, Cori, (who had been fired) was hanging out late and drunk, left the bar, was abducted and bludgeoned to death, and her body dumped in another county. Her car was found where she parked it before getting blotto for the last time at this deadly location.

Best place to meet guys!!!. Best place to meet guys!!!So many guys ,so few girls!

Our friend told us about live music on thursday ,so we went check it out. Had so much fun,we are coming back,definately!!!!!!

Sometimes you win. sometime you loose.

You can get in on a good night and everything is great.Sometimes you get in and have to wait for service at the bar forewer because bartender is too "busy" chitchatting. I only go on nights when Oksana is working,it is always something going on and she is on top of s**t.

Tuesday night beer pong rocks!

Surprice!. We wonder into this bar on Thursday eve and I end up at the stand up comedy show.Place was full!.Good drinks,good prices and a hot bartender . We end up coming back on Tuesday for a beer pong league and had a blast! Tottaly coming back.
