Venice Vintage Vibe. Great vibe. All sorts of interesting finds. I recommend.

My friend and I went there to find some costumes for a short film and we had a hilarious conversation with the woman working there. We bought a few items, accessories mostly, and came back the following week because we were told she'd have more new old stuff then. And when we came back, we were rewarded with tons of amazing old dress shirts, dresses, skirts...

Anyway. I've been back again and again over the past year and they have a really great mix of stuff. A range of prices and designers as well.

Disco, free love, and shoulder pads. Gotta Have Its' location in venice beach is as ecclectic as the garb it offers. The store encompasses nearly every fashionable, glam, tacky and unconventional decade on its racks. The pieces you find there are one of a kind and in 2007- you won't cross anyone on the street wearing the same thing as you. Be weary of sizing- vintage sizes smaller. The clothing is kept in excellent conditon for its age. Who doesn't love that moth ball/attic/grandma smell? Prices are decent considering these are unique and rare vintage beauties. Parking is good. Catch the beach afterward

For those trendy camouflage pants, officers' jackets or leather Serpico jackets.. In Short
Leaning more toward the thrift end of the vintage scale, the selection here focuses on silk and polyester shirts, often with pointy-collars, from the '70s and earlier eras. Expect to see a healthy collection of leather jackets in all sizes, lengths and variations of hues. Fans of military chic will certainly dig the authentic officers' jackets and camouflage pants. Nice women's A-line skirts, too.
