I recently visited La Cabana and because I was waiting over 45 minutes for a table, I was at the bar with friends. My wallet was stolen from my purse while it was hanging, zipped over my chair. I was in my chair when it happened. Carlos, Barbara and the staff there have a tape of the incident that they will not release to me. They claim there is nothing to see on the tape. I personally, think they are hiding something. They are not investigators. I was violated on their property and while they pretend to be interested in my well being, all they want is to protect themselves. They are not taking responsibility and they are not doing anybody any favors, except for themselves, by documenting ongoings in their establishment and then not releasing it.

I love this place. The atmosphere is great and the food is authentic. I eat here about once a month. Yum!
