  1. Hidden away in an inconspicuous minimall, their following has been steady and loyal for over 20 years, mostly because of the great chefs who have made the food what it is, and what the customers have come to expect.
  2. Fresh, and addictive jumbo shrimp are the best I've eaten anywhere.
  3. Cosy, yet busy, the food is terrific and consistently so.
  4. This is by far the most authentic and fresh, tasty Chinese food I've eaten in Los Angeles.
  5. If you crave a simple menu with authentic taste and the freshest ingredients and a great price you must try this little find in the Marina.
  6. Overall the meal was very good and we will definitely order from them again.
  7. Try, Sweet & Sour Shrimp, Tea Smoked Dusk, Szechuwan Beef, Chicken & Green beens, (very fresh beans)
  8. The chicken lo-mein was delicious!
  9. This is the best Chinese food in the Marina and Venice area.
  10. Given the name, we were expecting Panda Express, but the food was much better and they delivered to our door promptly (food was still warm).

Good Chinese delivery

by toloko at Citysearch

We have been looking for a good Chinese restaurant that delivers. We finally tried Wacky Wok and were very pleasantly surprised. Given the name, we were expecting Panda Express, but the food was much better and they delivered to our door promptly (food was still warm). We ordered the chicken chow fun (good), bbq pork with snow peas (very good), egg flower soup (good) and orange chicken (fair - it was a little too sweet for our taste). Overall the meal was very good and we will definitely order from them again. For reference, we also like Mao's Kitchen in the area, but it's a little out of the way and they do not deliver to our area.

REMINDS ME OF MY FAVORITE PLACE IN NEW YORK !

CHOW FUN IS SOOOOOO GOOD. THE BANGING AND CLANGING

OF THE 3 CHEFS AND THEIR WOKS, MUSIC TO MY EARS.

NOW IF THEY ONLY HAD A DECENT FOOT MASSAGE PLACE NEARBY....

  • Pros: AUTHENTIC NEW YORK STYLE CHINESE FOOD!
  • Cons: NOT AS DIRTY AS MY FAV PLACE IN NEW YORK : )

Fresh, Fast, Delicious!

by jaechung at Citysearch

I'm sure the locals in Venice and Marina Del Rey area already know about this gem. I was lucky enough to discover this place accidentally years ago, and I've been coming back regularly to get my fix of their light and tasty dishes. I love the new decor and the fast and friendly service. Food is unpretentious, fresh, and comforting. This is not just your average neighborhood Chinese joint!

  • Pros: Fresh, Fresh, Fresh
