Unique Tan is dead....RioTan is back! The original owners bought the salon back....I heard rumours at Golds Gym, and stopped in...half of the American Gladiators were finishing tanning there! Titan is a big guy! Helle DeAngelis was her happy cheerful self, with half the tanning beds being taken apart and either relamped or cleaned. She seemed genuinely happy to be back at her 'baby' and I am thrilled as a customer that an owner who cares is back in charge! She reduced prices immediately, and spent 15 minutes telling me here plans for the future! RioTan Venice is a must see for getting the best tan possible, and taking part in what has been a part of Venice history for twenty years! Tanning beds are still the best! What happened to this place.....it used to be the happening place in Venice....the last I visited the Psycho manager Leslie was posting (notice all the posts by single posters?) disparaging the old owners, and now I visit and its run into the ground without a touch of personality...still better than getting laughed at on TV by the metrosexuals/bimbos at Sunset tan, but the owners should be ashamed for destroying a venice icon.
Pros: history, not crowded,
Cons: became just another tanning salon
