EXPECT THE BEST ... AND GET IT. Courtesy, honesty and a thorough check and repair ALL THE TIME. As a woman who has limited knowledge of "the works of an engine" I can count on integrity from my mechanic, Edwin. Trust, and a good job ... what else is important. My car purrs like a kitten and operates at its maximum best after being in Edwin's care ... and the car is washed after service too ... Plus, Plus and Plus !!! The service at Marina Shell is like a Birthday Gift, every time I need service.

Horrible treatment of women here. Wayne, is the owner here and also has a hobby of speaking poorly of his female customers. This was my experience. I did business here and as a customer, I was courteous, which is why I was so disgusted when I found out that this man says mean things about women after they're gone. If you're a woman don't go here, if you are a man who has ever loved a woman don't go here. He obviously gets his rocks off by picking on women and thinks that this is professional. Its pretty sad.

Marina Shell Station-Great Service!. Just wanted to say a word about Marina Shell. I n hard times(really any time) you need people who are going to be honest,and give you the best overall service!!I had a situation that could have really broke me.Robert Torres and the entire staff was so helpful and honest,that I joined City Search just to write a review.Car trouble is not worst of life's problems,but it can still be a big problem.Thank you Guy's

BETTER THAN THE DEALER THATS FOR SURE!. We all have bad experiences at Automotime places, infact a great one is hard to find. i have had my bmw at the dealer for repairs, They always charge me ALOT and never seem to be able to fix the problem I took it in for. I found this Shell Service station, They not only found and repaired the problem the dealer couldn't or wouldn't find. They were very reasonable on the price.

Best mechanical service in Los Angeles. Used them for over 20 years. After my '92 Lexus went out of warranty they solved problems Lexus over-looked.

Reasonable, honest, trust-worthy and on time!

Highly recommend for all cars.

WRONG DIAGNOSTIC, RUDE AND ARROGANT BEHAVIOR, OVERPRICED, AVOID THIS CAR REPAIR SHOP!. I had a bad experience at this Shell station in the Marina. I asked to speak to the the owner; from the beginning, he was impatient and condescending towards me, plus, his diagnosis was way off; knowing he was wrong, I felt uncomfortable with him working on my car. He was ready to put in a new part in my car, that wasn't needed, at a grossly inflated price, I called back half hour later, to let him know I wasn't sure about him, I told him, if the car wasn't fixed properly, I wasn't going to pay. His response was aggressive and unprofessional, in fact I've never been so insulted! I will never go there again, or any of shell's repair shops, even for gas. This experience has soured the name of Shell for me for good! I wonder how this guy gets off being so full of himself, bragging about his 40 years of experience, while he can't even render a proper diagnose. I would have spent more than the car was worth for unecessary repair, while the real problem was still needed to be identified and fixed. He could have handled things better, and I wouldn't be here giving him well deserved bad review! BUYER BEWARE!

great service, thanks for the honest work. these guys are always honest and have always done a great job repairing my cars. not cheap, but fair and always honest!

Actually made the car worse and charged. Always expensive, have to go back multiple times for the same problem and in one case gave the car back in worse condition. People nice to talk to but a bad place to take your car.
