NO neighborhood feel.. Average food, poor service, charges lots for soda and then $1.00 for each refill of soda. Horrible. I wouldn't give any stars, but I had to give one to write the review.

Editorial Review. Casual, very affordable Mexican food staples include breakfast burritos, sopes, tortas, tostadas and combo meals. Eat-in or take-out.

Slow serice, false information, poor choice (esp for vegetarians). We ordered food for pick-up 1 hour before a movie, just beans & rice + guacamole to go with the food we were making. 20 minutes later when we arrived it was not ready. It took another 20 minutes to get it ready (just beans and rice!)

We had asked if there was meat in the beans, and were told no. Well, when I took my second bite, I found a chunk. I thought 'maybe it just fell in', but found more a minute later. So I pushed that aside.

So we missed our movie, and it ruined the meal. Moreover, they charged us $13 for two orders of beans & rice + guac. That's a hell of a lot, and I suspect we were overcharged. For good food and fast service, I wouldn't have minded as much. But for this ... don't waste your time.

I tried calling them to complain, and was told the manager was not working that night, and to try back in the morning. Same thing in the morning ... and again in the afternoon. So I gave up, but figured at least I could let others know.

yummy yummy yummy in my tummy. This food is Cheap. Cheap Cheap Cheap. The sad thing is it used to be Cheaper but went up a buck but it's still cheaper and better than Taco Hell.

All the food is fresh. The Mexican Waitresses are jerks but give them good tips, they're illegal and worth it. You can't beat the food anywhere on the West Side for the price and they finally cleaned up the atmosphere so it's a place you want to be and actually sit and spend some time in.

Nice enough for that first date and great enough so you can walk down the pier and give goo goo eyes to too.

Now Serving Beer. They have expanded and cleaned it up a bit, but the food quality has gone down a little. The Carnitas are a grease pit. Don't ever order the Chile Relleno. Good Burritos and breakfast Burritos nit the spot. A good place for a cheap snack.

lots of cheese. Large, good, and plenty of cheese. The place is small, with no parking.

Best Value. Extremely cheap mexican food that's surprisingly good... pretty much everything on the menu is hearty and filling. Don't be fooled by how inexpensive everything is, the food is done well and their homemade salsa is superb. Although they're working on a liquor license, as of right now you can still BYOB. That's perfect for a midday beach visit.

Cheap Eats. Authentic Mexican food for dirt cheap prices. Not the place to go for atmosphere, although the two patio tables aren't bad. BYOB and enjoy a huge, tasty meal for a refreshingly low price. The fajitas don't come on a sizzling plate, but the mix of chicken, vegetables and spice is heavenly when wrapped up in a fresh flour tortilla.

Perfect for a tight budget. This place is a great value! The food is great, the prices are even better. Try the deluxe burritos. Perfect for people on a tight budget....
