In Short – Hundreds of framed black-and-white celebrity photos fill the walls of this log cabin-like space that's crammed with diners and red-checked tablecloths. Southerners by birth and proxy sip lemonade from Mason jars and hum along to Marvin Gaye as they await huge portions of cast-iron skillet dishes like fried chicken, smothered steak, and chicken and dumplings. Sides include collard greens with a hint of hot pepper, cornbread stuffing and mac and cheese.

Please update your information. They have moved to a new location at 523 Washington Blvd and serve alcohol. All service is now table service.

THE SERVICE IS REALLY BAD AND THE FOOD IS NOT VERY GOOD THIS PLACE USED TO BE GOOD BUT NOT ANYMORE THEY HAVE GONE WAY DOWN HILL THE SERVICE IS REALLY MEAN TO YOU,IF YOU ASK ANYTHING THEY GIVE YOU A REAL ATTITUDE,I THINK THE PEOPLE WORKING THERE HAVE BEEN THERE TO LONG AND THEY DON'T CARE ANYMORE DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!
