Reeeeeeally bad customer service. It won't let me rate Zero stars, but that's what it deserves.

The guy in this shop was really rude to me when I pointed out that my watch was in worse condition when I picked it up than it was when I dropped it off. I had asked them to clean it since the glass was a little dirty on the inside, and when I got it back several of the number markers (little metal dots) were missing from the watch face.

I also had the band adjusted since my clasp was broken and I told them that the watch was now too big - he said I was accusing him of ridiculous things and a watch doesn't just grow - I thought maybe someone had made a mistake that could easily be fixed but his immediate response was to be defensive and rude. When I pointed out the missing numbers he said 'I had no reason to go into the watch, why would I do that?' I told him that it was cleaned and he said there had been water damage, and that I obviously didn't know what I was talking about because I couldn't remember exactly what the watch looked like when I dropped it off - was the glass 'cloudy' or 'foggy'? - implying that I was blaming him for something that was already broken. There probably was water damage, but it doesn't mean he didn't do a careless job cleaning my watch. The water did not make those number dots completely disappear! I will never go here again.

Bad Attitude. Zero stars actually!

I went in to get my watch cleaned and my band fixed. I picked it up later and while I was waiting another costumer was complaining of a switched gold chain. As I waited for my watch, I surveyed their "jewelry" selection which was old and out of fashion. This coupled with the complaining customer made me even more nervous.



So I get my watch back and it is clean and the band latch worked....and it looked like it was working. When I got home I realized something was loose and rattling inside, then I noticed the second hand was not running. The next day I took it back to have them fix it and they said they had nothing to do with the problem and they never went inside the watch. This may have been true, but I did bring it in working order and now it's not. I am a resident and also employed in Marina del Rey and my new goal is to help people avoid this horrible store and these awful people.

They didn't even consider that they may have been the reason the watch broke. I went to this business because it was close to home and convenient. I will not make this mistake again. With so many great jewelers out there, there is no reason to give your hard earned money to these scammers.

Great service. I've been there twice now to get my watches fixed and everytime it's been a great experience. I also love looking at their jewelry!.
