I was standing in line waiting for counter help when a employee said if you have a confirmation number I could use self checkout,man that was fast! And then to go out and pick my own car from those on the lot!! Loved that.

• Pros: you can see what available in your class before you make sel
• Cons: trying to call on sunday.

We rented our car through Alamo, at the Los Angeles International Airport. I am a member of their club, so we were able to get speedy, preferential service as soon as we got off the plane.

The main reason I stick with Alamo is their fantastic rates. Almost always the cheapest if compared with Dollar Rent a Car or Budget. The car is still the same, so it doesn't really matter that we rent through Alamo. I'm a happy customer.
